Great video. Any tips to increase the power in the frail part of the Walk of life picking? I notice you get a strong flick on that. Just repeated practice?

How do you get that "Mark Knopfler" tone?

I'd say you can get close with a stratocaster with the switch in second position and some compression. Then a lot of listening for the feel and vibrato.
