Nice work. You can clean sandpaper drums (03:40) with a hunk of gum rubber and it won't shred the paper. Online dealers sell them in sticks now, in the old days we went to thrift shops and bought crepe soled shoes. I also once bartered a price for a job and the customer had to give me his old shoes (the 3 prs lasted for many years)
Many people have told me that hornbeam does not grow in the States, but I am sure that it grows there, maybe they just call it something else? Hornbeam and walnut are my favorite woods.
All that you do, simply beautiful. Thank you for inspiring and sharing your works. Fondest regards from Australia.
Thank you too! Thank you for appreciating my work and my efforts.🤝🏻
Nice carve, great detail. Very daring with the thin resaw, but it worked. Extra Bragging Rights for that!
Thank you very much!🤝🏻👍🏼
I'm self-taught. I just love to challenge myself, so I never repeat my works and don’t look for easy ways.

I clean it with a wire brush because the rubber doesn't clean the burnt pieces of wood.🙂
Love them. Does anybody know where to find hornbeam in the United States or a suitable replacement?
