1. It is but so are the other 100 songs. Choosing the songs was very difficult and I did not feel that Growl stood out that much in EXO’s discography.
2. She’s a great artist but I wanted to showcase the diversity of styles in k-pop.
3. The ones that “had no impact” are otherwise really unique / concepts that have not been done before.

As much as I miss the late 2000s and early 2010s of kpop, there's no need for us older fans to disrespect current groups, because they're obviously breaking some amazing records and I think older kpop fans and newer fans need to stop separating the two different eras and just see them both as awesome eras of kpop. Now as I say this, I'm also saying new kpop fans need to respect older groups and don't act like your group "paved the way" I hate that phrase, many artists came before the group y'all like and helped your favorite artists grow so even if they didn't achieve as much success as your favorites did, they did some important things to help grow your favorite groups and the industry as a whole. There's my rant lol
@Simon Joanna Right! And tbh I can understand why new kpop fans might not like older kpop because they weren't kpop fans yet when those songs were new songs. I think I am personally attached to both 2nd and 3rd gen because I have been able to "follow their journey" if it makes sense, like I remember when Kara became my first favorite group and snsd was my second so they will always have a very special place in my heart, but I also LOVE Blackpink, Red Velvet, and NCT, they're probably my top 3 groups recently and I think when people start listening to kpop in the next like 5-10 years they might not understand how amazing 3rd gen music is because sometimes it's the memories and moments that are attached to the songs that make you love those songs and being able experience the comebacks and voting for your favorite artists and things can really make music feel more connected to you. I think people need to understand that it doesn't matter when you join the kpop fandom, as long as you're respectful towards idols, other fans, and enjoy what the idols create, I don't think it's really a big deal WHEN they became a fan. Anways kpop has lots of different things to offer in every era so I want all the new and old fans to get along (damn I just wrote a whole essay again😂)

My elder sister is old kpop fan, so I was lucky to listen all the hit songs from 2rd gen group during my childhood =))) That's why i know 90% of the songs from this vid lol. So happy for that 😊

And my sister also used to listened to taeyang song a lot so I’m quiet familiar too with taeyang song
