There are no bad Bowie interviews. But the interviewer is a bit of a tosser so David is clearly bored and yes, likely getting over a cold. David never wanted to be a celebrity and he didn't enjoy touring. He enjoyed spending time with his family and reading books. And recording music, and painting, Always humble, always polite and accommodating and humorous.
Oh dear, I KNOW you can do better Interwies. David got "a little" bit bored. Maybe it was interview 137 this day.....! Poor guys.....David and also the interviewer.
This interviewer ask so general and hackneyed, superficial questions - no wonder, David would rather get up and walk away. He feels he's just wasting his time.
He never gave a bad one. Sooooo likable. He did seem bored and under the weather. I think this interviewer did a poor job. Bowie is very polite as always.
Oh, I just noticed that myself. He did seem to have a cold and not feeling his usual self. Maybe he had a disagreement with someone; no matter, he definitely was not his usual jovial self in the interview. Maybe he didn't like the interviewer. Who knows?? He did have a short attention span, maybe he wanted to clear out and do something else.
There is zero chemistry between the two. I think one of the reasons is that the interviewer has restricted ablities to speak English, to be funny, to play on words or to dive into matters....I feel uncomfortable to watch this. Why wasting this wondeful artist´s time with boring questions. All so on the surface... for example I feel the same about New York and Berlin and always travel there, Nice topic to go deeper into it. The interviewer is unable to relate...he has probably cards with questions....there is no development in the "conversation" .
"I never knew a song that I trusted." What an interesting admission. And the idea of the drag queen businessman, that couldn't possibly be a reality. Only the righteous can succeed in business and the righteous never crossdress.
11:33 "I'll wait until she's 18" kinda sad hearing this in retrospect, knowing he didn't get to see his daughter turn 18.
He was SO bored....I would be too, at this interview host.

Never seen him so fidgety, just didn't seem to want to do this interview. Sounded all stuffy and not feeling good :(
he didn't seem to be into this.
Yes must admit, he didn't seem to want to be there, at one point checking his watch.

I wonder if he had a cold then perhaps that's why he wasn't into the interview he was looking at his hands a lot too
Maybe he just wanted to smoke and felt that need.

I'll tell you why; the interviewer was incredibly boring and had no idea how to do his job properly. Who wouldn't be bored!? I'd fall asleep...
Bella intervista...grande Bowie

Man, poor bowie. This interviewer is just so bad....
If one isn't clever / appreciates him, that's boring. OMG I'm German.
