Welcome to TomFM! In today's Football Manager 2022 experiment video, we have an FM22 Experiment where I'm giving the Danske Premiership a £1.2bn TV Deal. We're giving each of the 12 teams in the Northern Irish Premiership £100,000,000 each in the form of a TV deal each season to see if they can become the number 1 league in Europe. Northern Ireland need returning to glory and could this be the way to do it? The Danske Premiership has some great teams such as Linfield, Crusaders, Larne and Colarain, so surely one of the Northern Irish League sides can reach glory in this Football Manager 2022 Experiment?

Must admit I'd like to see the first couple years, like 5-20 years to see what players these teams sign.
Tom! Every time you make a video where it's 50+ years in the future, you go to check the league reputations and it never makes sense. FM is currently set up in a way that after a certain amount of time, every single league is bordering on maximum reputation (around 10000). That's why the Swiss and Turkish league were at 5 and 7. If you look at the stars ratings, they're all 4.5*

Thanks for giving the Irish League some attention mate, I've been making custom NI league since 2013 love trying to increase their rep and get some Danske Banks teams into Europe proper!
I've always wondered why on earth one of the main banks in Denmark is sponsoring the northern Irish league
They bought our Northern Bank a few years after the IRA robbed near £30Million off it.

It used to be called Northern Bank, but it was taken over and rebranded as Danske Bank around the time they started to sponsor the league

Great Experiment Tom. Yh i am surprised with that Money amount of Money not one Club Managed too Win a Champs League. I always wondered what a UK Prem League would be like, with 4-6 of the Best Clubs from each of the UK Leagues together or a UK Champs League type Cup, with all the UK Teams competing in would be fun too see lol.

As a coleraine fan we still can't win a league and then run of Ballymena winning everything was horrifying. Don't resent them it's a very competitive Intresting league other than linfield always winning the title
You should do this in Lithuania! FK Žalgiris Vilnius made the Conference League groups, first Lithuanian club to ever make Europe! Would also be fun to watch you struggle with names ;) lol

Tom, you should make a series when you try to make small country to win World Cup. Just do everything you can, and see how time it will consume
You should do it with a really low tier division like Swedish Div2 Norrland. Just to see if all of them get to the top flight and then dominate (or not).

Can you do this same exact video except double the amount of money you give them. It would be interesting to see if that makes any difference.

You should make a video where you give a Vanarama north/south team, the ideal owner (putts loads of money in) and a prem team like Liverpool the worst owner (takes all their money)
Tom, you are doing an amazing job with the most recent videos, but I think that having a script and preparing the information better would improve the videos' quality. I understand that recording the video seemingly without a script gives the idea of authenticity to the video, but trust me - watching you scroll through competitions to check what the teams put by you in the simulation did well for almost 2 minutes feels off.
I know it might be just me and I could be completely off and I really do not want to offend you in any way. I hope you can take my feedback as a constructive one. But I do feel scripting your videos more would improve the quality.
More so, this was a simulation of 100+ years and what I remain with after watching the video is - Tom gave some teams a bunch of money, simulated 100+ years and I got to see him scroll through competitions and teams for 6 minutes.
I actually like the way he doesn't script it, he does a really good job of showing experiments that go wrong, or put out dull results and provide a suitable live reaction to them ^^
if you want scripting, Zealand is probably more your guy
@@Mei-iz3ed thanks! I know Zealand, I watch him also. I like Tom's videos, what I mean by scripting is that the outline and preparation of the video should be there. He simulated 100+ years and I don't feel he has shown anything important. But again, it's just my opinion and I may be completely off 😃
Tbh I always feel like there is not much important to show at all but always click at the videos with "maybe something spectacular happens this thime" in mind
@@Mei-iz3ed I've seen Zealand record videos live on stream. You'd be surprised how little a script he has, if any. Does help that he has plenty of sports broadcast training and experience though :)

Uruguay used to be a world powerhouse, they won two Gold Medals in the Olympic games before the World Cup existed, and then won the first World Cup in 1930, and then another in 1950. And then... nothing. This is even going on in their club level, as teams from Uruguay would win the South American equivalent of the Champions League all the way back to the 1980s, but nothing since. What about giving the Uruguay league a 1.2 Billion TV Deal and see what happens? Maybe they win a World Cup again after over 70 years of not wining one?

would be interesting to see how a 4th tier league would do with all that money, especially when the league wont have any possible way to qualify for europe and many teams going up and down
