    Matt, here is a truth that I learned now ago The bottom line is this "People lack common sense today." I learned a long time ago that the more educated someone is the less commons sense that they have." Commerce, Georgia

    I forget which video it was but when I heard Doc selling DGL and saying "imagine each blade of grass with its own tiny particle" I just about died. What a complete load of horse****.

    Only the best lawn show will discuss and speculate on exhaust gas having an effect on helicopter lift!
    Damn well better know it!

    For as much crap you give Doc, y’all missed that “hepta” is the chemical prefix for seven. “Penta” is five. I would usually let something like that go because the point of it all is the relative degree of how much more water is there between the two. But my goodness, for the nit picky stuff you guys are going after him for and you mess up the chemical prefix definition, I would take a break and breathe.

      Yep, we all make mistakes and it's fair to point them out.
      The degree of making an honest mistake vs. being a self absorbed moron giving people poor advice just to sell them a product they likely do not need while threatening our livelihood? That's simply not up for debate.

      This is the least of his issues. Him advising his followers to misdiagnose, missapply and misuse products puts the industry many people such as myself depend up on for our livelyhood is not acceptable. I always say it is a good thing bureaucrats do not watch youtube. I am talking about the agencies responsible for environmental regulations. Because if they did, they would come to the conclusion that people should not be allowed to have lawns, never mind apply anything to them. All thanks to people on youtube not only pushing products but misapplying them and misusing them. This nitpicky pedantic little detail we made a mistake on is the least of the problems. People like how to with Doc are a real threat to the future of lawns in the United States. Fine, we will let him slide. Then wonder why the EPA has banned everything. Think it cannot happen? Look across the ocean or to the north. Europe did it. Canada did it.

      Its just jealousy stemming from their failed businesses/YT channels. People still buy all this lawn stuff from YT in spite of what matt says. 😂😂😂

    I put down zoysia sod 3 years ago and only having experience with centipede grass I didn’t recognize that there was Bermuda in it from the sod farm. Ever since I’ve been living with it because I’m scared I’ll smoke the zoysia in effort to get rid of the Bermuda. I read or heard a combo of Fusilade 2 and Recognition is solution can you guys confirm this?
    Never mind I just found an article on Greencast published on April 11, 2024 about this cocktail. Thanks for the great content guys.

      You sure it's not Bahia instead of Bermuda? A bunch of the sod I see will have Bahia mixed in.

    • @gamecock2465
      @gamecock2465 4 месяца назад +1

      @@GardenerEarthGuy its kind of leggy and looks more like a common Bermuda. But I will look into Bahia grass more so I can make a better determination.

      @@gamecock2465 if its Bermuda, Recognition, Triclopyr, and Fusillade will do the job.
      If its Bahia, the same will do the job.

    How would a bozo homeowner get rid of nematodes in zoysia? Mine is bright yellow and doesnt green up after a fert application

    • @rey3472
      @rey3472 4 месяца назад

      Nematodes usually cause dramatic wilting in the turf that recovers immediately upon watering. I think of yellow as being caused by excessively high or low pH. There is a treatment for Nematodes that is relatively safe to apply but it is very expensive.

      @@ZupE891 I couldn't get the timing right with the old formulation. The new release is a new formulation that might have a broader window. I haven't used the new formula.
