Lets not forgot the almost complete lack of good artifacts starting out. Or Lucidity. Meanwhile I've maxed out Valarqvin cause she's a cheap and effective Supporter when those come up. Can kill final boss. And most heavies. She needs a lot to hit her benchmarks though. At max power in IS4, her S2 inflicts Necrosis in 3/5 hits. Or just running spearpoint squad. With both she hits 2/4. Not counting any relics, but that is her limit, really hard to hit 500 elemental damage on normal attacks. And Typhon tends to be stronger in general. But it's a cheap supporter in a class that doesn't have many cheap but effective options. Now if only that wasn't limited to this game mode. Maybe if her Module ever comes out.
On don’t turn around sluggies you can block the entire map from 1-2 tiles in the middle before enemies go down or to the stairs thing. In rational fracture you blocked unnecessary spots there are like 2 spots that if you block both you block the entire map I can’t spot it super easily for you without coordinates but like if you find those spots those maps become much easier to lane hold and stuff
Good instinct on a first run, you do want to recruit less and promote more, in general. I hope you have the time to enjoy IS4, it gets more fun with time.
i get that this is your first time doing IS4, and so far you do make good choices, although your starter choices were... questionable, specifically with choosing Lava over Steward
I wanna hug the sad GG in the thumbnail

My first run is not bad by any means but I can for sure make make improvements but the best part was that I had fun
If you own reed alter, she 100% makes your run easier. It was a fun run to watch.
Nice to hear, the only problem is- I don't own reed sadly.
@Tsune_0 if one of your friends have one you can borrow it if I ain't mistaken
Between IS2, 3 and 4, I hated the beginning of 4 the most, but all of them have mechanics which make it better the more you play.
dont worry,it will get worse later on.But things will go smoothly at braving nature 9
also reed is highly recommended in my opinion bc u will need her debuff and explosion to sweep them

When you unlock more fodartals and learn to combine them it'll make even more easier and fun

Yeah looking back at it, I should have made some better decisions on recruitment and thanks I will look forward to the rest of its continents!
