Calm? She was barely conscious for most of the episode as her body was battling the deadly infection in her brain, and upon awakening, she was weak, drained of energy, full of medication. That is nothing to celebrate, they were the symptoms and the residual effects of her illness. I will agree that she is gorgeous though.

OMG, Xah’nae, is one beautiful little girl. You can tell how much her parents love her. So awesome, and adorable. I almost cried when her Dad said that loving his daughter was way more than love. ♥️✨♥️ Now that’s a real Dad.
That doctor from Sudan was just a beautiful person! She so right about father's they love their little girls in such a special way. My mother never liked how close I was with my father, My Mother had her five boys to bond with. Thank you all for making this show possible, amazing.
I disagree. Only with his family sometimes, only talking about his biological child and not what is basically his step-son. He's shallow. And not what I would call a good father.
@@darkmoore05because the baby is the one that’s sick ?? The baby is his first child their is nothin wrong with saying that, and I’m saying that as a step child
@peachbunnys01 He specifically says she is his ONLY child. Which, while technically right, is a shitty way to behave. What do you wanna bet that what little time he actually spends with "his family" at their house us focused on the girl, sick or not?

My grandson has a medical condition that causes him to have abscesses in his brain. The 1st time he got sick, it was eerily like that little girl. He ended up in a coma for 8 days over the course of 12 hours and they didn't expect him to survive. They said he had brain damage too. He recovered but it's taken 3 years to nail down the cause. It's been a crazy ride but he's surprised the Dr. He has a slight tremor in his hands and sometimes he has a hard time not stammering but he's still himself and that's all we wanted. Children's brains have an amazing ability to recover.

Matt you are going to be a wonderful nurse and you will learn small things that have nothing to do with medicine. Such as never serve hot tea in a paper cup or when the patient is not sitting up. I thought that he was going to collapse it and scald himself.
My son had spinal meningitis when he was a month old. His lining of the brain was infected. I know what these parents are going through, my heart goes out to them.

I wish he could be more certain that she loves him too. I'm so glad the little girl got better quickly. It wrenched my heart seeing her so unresponsive. 😢
Had come to read the comments to see if anyone else had addressed that. Was a bit off-putting. 😅😅 One minute he was gushing about how much he loved her and the next minute he was going on and on about how shyte she was. I was like eh, well that escalated quickly. I'm not sure I could have kept my composure as well as her sister did. Either he should be there and be supportive or should leave and consider therapy and divorce.
Not necessarily, when I was a baby the doctors were concerned because I didn’t react but as I got older we realized I just have an extremely high pain tolerance. I’m not at all saying that is what is happening here though
@@darkmoore05 he never said he only cared about his biological child idiot he’s talking about his child who is currently sick in hospital which is normal ??
Matt u are and are going to be a good nurse u where there for that familys other child too making sure he was okay too coloring with him, u seem like a very good person thank u for being a good nurse and person ❤
For all the parents out there, the word “lethargic” is represented by the 19 month old….so many parents use this word when kids are sick and more subdued but still interactive not realizing what it means as lethargy is a medical emergency. Notice how she doesn’t really react much, has her eyes closed a lot and it not being a typical 19 month old being touched and poked by multiple people. Just a little tip 😊
I'm concerned about christine and husband, She said she fell. But those bruises look like domestic abuse. There is such a thing as both abusing each other. I suggest Family therapy. Also why was an appropiate plan was not made for her. Even if it is a dip in blood pressure , the patient needs either further testing or observation, Not just discharged. As a sufferer of cluster headaches , I do know you can tempporary loose conciouness , But its just not adding up.
Don’t jump to conclusions. My sister had a drop in her blood pressure and collapsed in the bathroom hitting head very similar to Christine. Her face was a mess and she ended up having stitches to her head and a nasty black eye. Her husband wasn’t even home when it happened. If the family said she had gone to the bathroom and they all Heard her fall and came running, I’m sure her sister would have know if it was abuse.
Yes. The first thing he did when she woke up, before she even knew she was in hospital, was to demand an explanation as to why she fell in the bathroom.
@@spindeltass I would have said that, but they will never get divorced. It's clear toxic codependency, and if they won't get divorced, couples therapy is the next best thing. At least it's something.
I feel bad for Xah'nae and her brother. Stefian is obviously not a good father to her and not a father at all to her older brother. Either he wants to be a familiy or not. "she is my only child" Yes, technically, she is. But it tells me he probably treats the little boy like crap because he's not "his". What a horrible way for the children to live. I know this show is several years old. I hope these two got to have a good childhood despite Stefian being an a**
I saw Christine before and the previous Ep I say Steve before, this happens a lot. This show claims to be from 1 24hour period, could that be deceptive? A 24h period instead of a 24hour day? Like someone is treated at 10am in Jan and someone is treated at 1pm in march, etc etc, it's 24hours but spread over months. Does this make sense?
"I was never taken into hospital." Damn, dementia really is horrible, the poor guy can't even regcognize his surroundings. And Christine and Dave need couple's therapy. They obviously will never get divorced, so at least therapy will help them be less toxic in their relationship.
In my hospital, I went in and the nurse stuck an IV in my arm, which hurt so bad and I’ve had tons of them. Then she left me to sit in there about an hour.
We don't know their circumstances. Did they not have children because they were looking after Graham, or were they able to care for Graham because they didn't have children? In either case, it's their business, they all love each other, and Graham is very lucky to have them especially now that he has dementia. His life would have been much harder without their love.
Matt doesn't look old enough to be a nursing student. He'll be a fantastic nurse when he's graduated. My bf's son has Down's. Dillon is in his early 30s. He's hard to understand but such a sweetheart. Graham is lucky to have his two big sisters. So glad Xah'nae is ok. Scary when your babies are sick. You feel so helpless. Stefian is a wonderful, loving Dad and will be a great pediatric nurse. Look out when she's older, lol. The boys are going to have to go through him to date his little girl. Dr. Alia Is so good with her little patients. I was worried Christine wasn't going to wake up. You could see the love and relief on her husband's face. I love watching these videos and the Untold Stories of the ER.
32:33 Isn't life wonderful? Dave - A man with "h-a-t-e" tattooed on his knuckles, sitting in chairs, so worried for his love. So glad Christine recovered well. 👍

Was a bit off-putting. 😅😅 One minute he was gushing about how much he loved her and the next minute he was going on and on about how shyte she was. I was like eh, well that escalated quickly. I'm not sure I could have kept my composure as well as her sister did. Either he should be there and be supportive or should leave and consider therapy and divorce.
honestly it made me feel suspicious of their home situation
What a truly great Pediatrician Alia is.
Behind every Doctor is a great nurse!
When a little kid has no reaction to you putting a needle in their arm, something's not right. Just sayin
Not necessarily, when I was a baby the doctors were concerned because I didn’t react but as I got older we realized I just have an extremely high pain tolerance. I’m not at all saying that is what is happening here though
Stefian is a good dad
And I think he could become a good nurse too.
"She is my only child" That right there tells me he is NOT a good father.
@@darkmoore05what ?
@@peachbunnys01What? Him only caring about his biological child isn't an issue for you?
@@darkmoore05 he never said he only cared about his biological child idiot he’s talking about his child who is currently sick in hospital which is normal ??
Matt u are and are going to be a good nurse u where there for that familys other child too making sure he was okay too coloring with him, u seem like a very good person thank u for being a good nurse and person ❤
Matt, you are AWESOME!!!
Matt will be marvelous.
Grahams sisters made me cry
❤ Graham, amazing sisters!!
Matt is shaping up to be an ideal nurse (cute as a button, too--reminds me of a hobbit).
That little girl was so listless that was scary.
Wonderful sisters.
Worked Peds as an NA..we wanted the kicking and crying...whe lethargic..that was always concerning.
The man with his wife Kristine the love in his eyes and voice beautiful ❤
Poor baby isn't even crying when a needle is put in
They did spray a freezing first. But the poor little girl is very much out of it.
You go Matt!!!!
Christine and Dave need some couple's therapy.
" She's always a woman to me"...
No, they need a divorce. He's a victim of domestic abuse, but no one would agree to that since she's a woman.
Yes. The first thing he did when she woke up, before she even knew she was in hospital, was to demand an explanation as to why she fell in the bathroom.
@@DeanneCouslandhe's traumatized
@@spindeltass I would have said that, but they will never get divorced. It's clear toxic codependency, and if they won't get divorced, couples therapy is the next best thing. At least it's something.
Places to not let your child play - on hospital floors.
I hope these two got to have a good childhood despite Stefian being an a**
great vid tyfs
You are so amazing❤
We are watching our Mom decline rapidly from dementia. It's so sad.
She’s been a real jerk to him .. oh 36:00 I see now why 😂😨
@@esthersdaughterlong8149it’s hard the body still works for most , but the brain goes awry . I feel for you 🫶🏻🙏🏻
That Matt has a lot of potential!
Little girl adorable.
Porque son capitulos tan VIEJOS SI ESTAMOS EN EL 2024😡😡😡
Graeme's sisters are beautiful ❤❤❤
In my hospital, I went in and the nurse stuck an IV in my arm, which hurt so bad and I’ve had tons of them. Then she left me to sit in there about an hour.
Christine & Dave remind me of me and my husband, LOL.... I would ever really leave him though...
That’s just sad
@@peachbunnys01 I know, pretty toxic. 🥴
I know Graham’s sisters love him so much but at times, it seems like they are suffocating him with their attention. He is the child they never had.
Dr. Alia
Is so good with her little patients. I was worried Christine wasn't going to wake up. You could see the love and relief on her husband's face.
I love watching these videos and the Untold Stories of the ER.
Matt is so sweet
MARRIAGE IS SO WORTH FIGHTING FOR! DIVORCE IS TOO EASY. AFTER 47 YEARS I NEVER WANT A DAY WITHOUT MY HUSBAND! I DON'T FEEL COMPLETE W/O HIM.
You’re lucky you found your soul mate. Believe me divorce is not easy.
Divorce is not easy idiot, I’m glad you found your soul mate but that’s not the case for everyone
32:33 Isn't life wonderful? Dave - A man with "h-a-t-e" tattooed on his knuckles, sitting in chairs, so worried for his love. So glad Christine recovered well. 👍
Matt with the brother ❤
