Its a shame you thought they were a fail, I thought they were lovely and, yes, they move slowly but I for one prefer that in a shaker. Dont be so tough on yourself, the hard work you put into the video was amazing and they turned out better than you think they did.

I use straight baby oil, have a bunch I have done that were a 50/50 mix of baby oil and water, but the separation of the two happens when they are set down and not moved in a period of time around 3-5 days. Plus, on the bright side, baby oil is good on the hands, keeps them smooth and moisturized, it is easier to get more into it than with the thicker glycerin/water or silicone oil. 💜💜I love these molds and if you are looking for more covers, I have found some through Michaels called Clear Acetate Sheets I get them in 6 in x 6 in pads of 12 pieces. You get a lot of coverage with one sheet, also they don't have the plastic covers over them either.

Still they look awesome, love those glitters in it,and you did so much of hard work to make them. Its awesome 😍💖

  • @GrandmaSandy

My dear friend thanks so much for sharing a wonderful video and sharing what you got hugs and kisses from grandma, Sandy, and Debbie

with liquid shakers i would recommend using a liquid of a slightly thinner consistency and put some more heavy pieces inside to help with the flowing! if you want things to flow quickly, keeping a bit of a bubble in it helps a ton :) i think they’re sweet

  • @Coyo-Tea

I think they look fabulous. So what if they move slowly they do move ❤

  • @Top2tow

Your shakers are beautiful. I think their slower movement would be very therapeutic to watch. Especially if you were waiting to see the dentist!!❤

  • @tonipatterson8594

It still helped. The video was enjoyableThank you ❤

  • @shaldal6198

Glycerine and water I use. You're right about the powders, I've used the same ones and cheaper isn't always better. Good video, thanks. 😊

  • @19AUR63

I use baby oil to fill the shakers and I leave a very small bubble. I put less embellishments in to give the individual little items some room to move around in the oil. Up to now, I made only 6 shakers but it works fine.

  • @Jellybean_Craftz

Still very pretty and very helpful. Maybe no silicone or oils?

  • @meekagal

50% oil, 50% distilled water. Distilled water helps to keep mold out

  • @GrannyHugs

Hi, these turned out cute! It's all a learning process. I'm new to resin making & learn from others. Thank you for this video.

  • @patsyhune6329

They look good, you might have put to many embellishments in them. That's what happened to my first try

  • @Aegopodium

Maybe if you used demineralised water and some alcohol to prevent it fom spoiling? Just an idea....

  • @krystalmeister

What did you use to make the black resin ?

  • @debrahamilton4658

Most shakers iv saw tutorials on use baby oil.
