what mods do you guys wanna see come back? personally I'm hoping for some good heist music ones like the yakuza or risk of rain ones. also I'd love to have the MGR bosses as special voice lines again
a mod that fixes the bad perfromance .. special on no rest for the wicked

Just crazy seeing payday 3 mod preview 30 minutes into the 1st day of early access
Payday 3 being on Unreal Engine gets me super hyped for what the modding community has in store, not only is it far easier to make mods, but there's a much higher chance they wont outright crash the game for being a super old engine. May have to reinstall Unreal to make some mods myself.

Honestly, I'm not overly bothered by cheats. So long as there's a decent anticheat that can be toggled off if you just want to dick about with friends in a private lobby idc if someone else is cheating.
@@walale12 yeah, if it's in a private lobby, go fuckin wild, but if you're doing it in pubs and it's affecting everyone.

Cant wait for the QoL mods and all the overhauls to come into effect. Loving payday 3 myself right now, so it may take awhile before i feel bored and have the need to spruce it up with new things like modding.
I really hope QoL mods come out quick. stuff like the menus are awful
As someone who had to figure out how to mod my payday 2 game alone, I am so excited to see that PD3 uses UE for mods, because it offers so much more freedom, but now I have to learn how to mod this game lol.

Glad the mods are already here. Im just curious if its gonna affect crossplay like in pd2. Are we gonna have to disable crossplay to use these mods or can we use them on crossplay if its enabled ?

you mean skills right? there's no perk deck in PD3
u should start by doing the clothing only then move on with everything else, usually the style is the main thing about the pbs

edit: doesn't seem possible as the gamepass pc/microsoft store version does not support launch options without a workaround

I did like the timer mod we had access to in PD2, where you could see timer on drills and such while looting.

the only ones to my knowledge should be the offline mods as it all has to be connected to nebula. same goes for challenges

I'm having some problems with installing the dmg pop up and the health+armor mods... Are there more requirements to download those two? I managed to install the colored buffs at least...

I'm switching from console to PC and I know that some games have support for mods like Steam Workshop, but in this type of modding, can you get banned? (The mods I'm looking for are retextures and maybe music.)

Huge amount of lag when using ANY mod, not sure what the exact problem is (Ex. The launch options). Got a good PC, followed all the instructions, most mods work as stated…but visuals, sound, gameplay etc. have big issues with lag every single time. It can hard freeze my game and even crashed my driver, anyone have any advice? Tried verifying game files and reinstalling but no luck, seems other people are having these issues too

just a small thing to ask but do u guys think modding the game with an red sus bag would get us ban or something like that down the road? i do want to mod pd3 already but as i have 60+ hours on it i dont want my acc to get a clean reset after all the hours on it

After installing amogus, I actually hope for some remodeling of the specials so I can actually spot them from normal cops.
Theres mods before a way to get Full HD . My Resolution can eitler be Windowed and 1280x800 or full and then 1560x 1000 something. Cant get fix it in anyway

Couldn't resist still I'll be looking at this in the future when I get payday 3 on my laptop. Heres to hope my old rig can run payday 3. Reguardless I am gonna end up troubleshooting some things with the first mod I plan on installing. For those who can see my profile picture I'm sure some of you can already guess as to which mod that'll be. The tweeking will be getting that skin so to speak on Wolf instead of Dallas.
How does this work with multiplayer ? I want too use mods but i also want too play online

my payday 3 loads up and as soon as the sun thing appears from starbreeze i think it crashes
The problem i run into is, If i download 1 single mod and did exactly like you did. Put it in the ~mods folder. When i start payday 3, The main menu music starts stuttering. And i can't Ready up anymore. Is there a fix?

Ok so the problem is we're using HDD
That command runs all pak files which is usually smoother on SSD
The fix I found is to use PD3 UE4SS instead, from mod workshop@@faaskee7071

Whenever I install a mod the game sound is broken. How to fix it?
the only problem I have with this system is that using the -fileopenlog launch option makes my game load things much slower, resulting in massive load times and audio getting cut off, I dunno why exactly that happens but if anyone else has that problem or managed to fix it please let me know
because it says in the name, the game is attempting to log stuff to a console, the launch option is prob leftover from developers

@@marosynth6434Yeah and besides. Mods weren't even meant to be a part of Payday 3 which is fucking hilarious if you ask me but it's teue. Which was fuggin disappointing until this came around but still.
@@ericneuens iirc the devs have never said they didn't want mods in Payday 3, rather they said that the recognize the modding community to be a big part of Payday 2, so I think that they do hope to give more support to that side of things when the time is right (aka when they've taken care of the stability of the base game)
@marosynth6434 OK, well, I have found that Overkill hasn't made an official modding method, but the current state of the modding is still limited with the changed features of the always online cross play making certain gameplay mods and potentially even maps, harder or impossible to implement and while one could wish for better optimization, that's not the problem anyway? The problem is getting it to work with the current garbage state of the no offline mode thing.

soon, I am currently in the process of unlocking all the skills and weapons. once I do (along with possibly other things I need to do first) I feel I can give a more accurate review
So I followed the instructions greatly and my game still crashes (EDIT) i had spaces by mistake on file open log
