Im impressed by how low noise this machine is making duting spin, compared to those new advanced models of LG (wifi, steam etc). I bet, this vibration/noise is normal For a direct drive. I bought the basic one 7kg.hope it works fine when it reaches to the Philippines 🙏🏻❤️🥰
I have a Hoover dynawash washing machine and strange enough the machine’s direct drive motor is derived from LG, as my Hoover washer sounds exactly the same as the LG at 1400 rpm.
@@kliv4663 This sounds like a mechanical problem (design) rather than a direct drive motor noise, sounds like vibration absorbers, I wanted to buy this model but not anymore after seeing this.
I’ve got a Hoover dynawash washing machine(inspired by LG) model no HWM-S914ID-S, looks like an LG washer, powered by the same DD motor used by LG and behaves and sounds exactly the same as this LG washer at 1400 rpm, normally many Hoover washing machines are Candy Inspired, with the same functions candy washers have but the one I’ve got is just a copy from LG washer.
I think, the reason it sounds noisy, is maybe that it's not properly levelled, both the machine and the load was imbalanced, but the biggest factor is, the machine's sited in a bathroom, I think, which is tiled, and the sound of the machine will reverberate & bounce off the tiles like a ping pong ball.
Míele SoftTronic No, that's normal for these machines. It's just a bit of stress on the motor when it is accelerating. Or that's the way the it's designed, not a fault with the machine.
I have almost the exact same machine and it gets quite loud on 1200/1400 spin :( I thought because it was direct drive it would be very quiet even when spinning, it is however quiet when just washing.

Sounds like the old F&P motors in their top loaders; unless they use that same motor?
The motors share very similar technology, but it is a different motor.

Mine does the same. Too loud to use at night. Not happy with it. Bought it weeks ago.
hi i have LG F4J5QN4W ... but when it comes to spin cycle it starts to vibrate and between 6-4 minute it makes a sound and vibrate too.
