Hey.. Why are you hide the splitted surface after using split command. Guys you should not hide any surface while modeling to give sake of view. Its a not proper way of surface modeling. You have to remove the surface in proper way instead of hiding that.

such a fucked up vdo!! the model is rotated so many times while selecting the plane, it becomes confusing for the viewer!!
