Ugh watching your vlogs makes me miss our property back in Alvord soooo much 😭 the peace and quiet plus our neighbors had tons of longhorns. Loved them so much. They are such beautiful , sweet gentle creatures. Another great video Kyndra. Thank you for sharing ❤️
I know it’s not near the same, but Hopefully you can live through my videos a little bit 🤍 I always love seeing your name pop up! Thank you for being here girl 😘
Hi kyndra from the uk we I grew up on our small dairy farm 70s-98 I'm now a excavator driver but I love to see the difference in dairy farming in the US to UK my best friend has 400 dairy cows so I can still go farming when I want love just found you and love your videos thank you,oh and you got your very own rip from yellowstone he's a lucky guy😂 all the best from the northwest in the uk
Thanks for sharing. Times and life on a Farm there is not really a day off. Is there? There is days to where you dont do "Normal" stuff. But yet its still great way to enjoy a day.
Honestly, there are many different reasons for different horses & a persons preference, however, we’ve had issues when the weather gets below 40, ours tend to stop drinking water. Too long without water can lead to them colicking.
@ I’ve never heard of that. I’m a volunteer with This Old Horse out of Minnesota and we rarely blanket our horses here even with 7° weather like today. I manage a wild Mustang sanctuary for This Old Horse in Goodhue Minnesota and of course our boys grow thick coats for the winter. I so enjoy your videos and admire your work ethic and spunk. You are a delight to watch.
@@becky2425 To be fair, I know about dairy cattle.. horses are my husband’s thing lol. Him and his brothers are team ropers for rodeo, so they have their specific ways with their horses! I’m so jealous, I’ve always wanted to live in Minnesota! & thank you for taking your time to take care of such beautiful animals. And a huge thank you for your kindness and following along with my videos! I hope you have a beautiful (& warm) New Year! 🤍🐮
Thank you for feeling my pain 😂 & yes there is a software designed specifically for the needs of the dairy, however, my dad is very old school and wants it on paper as well lol
Hi I do not want to be rude or unrespectful the only reason I am giving you this idea is because I am in the information technology and I have seen bar code scanners or rf tags for farm stock they cow's And you should think switching over to that system did save you some time for your mom and dad and yourself because I know it's hard to manage all the livestock And that is the only reason I am giving you this suggestion to make it easier for you.
How do you inseminatate the cows? Put them with a bull or do you use AI? (Artificial insemination? . How do you keep records for cows and bulls are going to inseminate vs send to market (slaughter)? . Also, love your videos!
Thank you for the questions! We started with bulls, But after about 10 years, we had issues with aggressive behavior and safety. So we switched to AI. As far as records for the sire semen and market cows, we have a program on the computer I manage as well as our breeder and nutritionist! Great questions and thank you for being here! 🤍🐮

Hi,,, would you be able to give us a tour of your milking Parler 😎
Wow, i am in ❤️ love. Donkeys, cows, hardwork and lots of garlic in your cooking. Do you have a single Aunt thats like you?
I may have a few. You’d have to head west to California tho 😂
Your husband's a very lucky man you look like you have a very happy family I'm so happy for you
That’s amazing of you to say. I am very blessed. Thank you for noticing! Hope life is being good to you! 🤍🐮

💛🌾
That moth came from a Tomato Worm!👩🌾🍀✌️🧐
Wow, thank you for sharing that! It was a beautiful moth 😍
@ it’s a Tomato Horn Worm 🐛
Are they common throughout the US?
Why blanket the horses?

Isn’t it?! I was in love 😍
Fascinating, but painful to see all that manual data entry. There has to be software solutions available to make your life easier!
Thank you for feeling my pain 😂 & yes there is a software designed specifically for the needs of the dairy, however, my dad is very old school and wants it on paper as well lol
A little trivia, a bull with no balls is a steer. You know what a male sheep with no balls is called?
Wether 😉 🐑
@ you are good. Did you have to google it?
Hello. I hope you have a Backup Drive. Nothing worse than a computer crash. Farmers are the Backbone of this great Country.
🙏🏼 🤍
