My first car is a 2006 Ridgeline and I'm in love with the truck, first time ever having to recharge the AC of a car so thanks for the video! Super quick and easy to understand
I love my Ridgeline. Hoping to get it to 350,000. Im almost at 250,000.
@@MCFIXIT damn nice, is still working? I see this is a 1-year-old comment. Curious
Exactly what my Ridgeline needed. Great video 👍
You are welcome. Thanks for the nice comment!
What was happening prior? Mine is blowing hot air. Will this fix it?
I’m going out to get a can, first time trying! I have 2012 Honda Ridgeline hope this weeks!
Best of luck on your project! Let me know how it goes!
Went out and got one of these kits. Had a bluetooth portion which was pretty cool. I have a Gen1 06 RT and after having high pressure on the low end, I checked the relay in the fuse box once I confirmed it didn't sound like my compressor was kicking on. I confirmed my relay was dead by switching it out with another relay in the same box (ETCS). Sure enough the compressor kicked on and the dashboard lit up due to a bad ETCS. Charge kit worked ok once the system was running. Couldn't really get it above 24-25PSI which is the minimum.
Glad you got it working! It’s getting hot in many locations. The cans doesn’t have the best gauges. You’d need to pick up a real three way pressure kit to get a good reading. It works but won’t be as accurate with the basic setup. Have a great day!
Great video, so I added that Freon can and now it’s Blowing Cold Air.But Both Radiator Fans don’t turn off while I have the AC running.I also don’t hear the Compressor Clutch Cycling on and off like it should.
Glad it’s working!
Thanks brotha, it worked 💪 ✊️🤙
That’s great news! Thank you so much for watching and commenting
Dang dude thanks for the video but I can’t figure out how to shake the can that fast lol
Yeah it takes a lot of practice and patience 🤣
Hey, do you have a new link for the a/c coolant and sealer it’s not allowing me to use the current one
Sorry about the broken link. Here's a similar product on Amazon - amzn.to/4cO0v9x
Not sure if this will get seen now but i recently picked up an 07 that has decent cool air from passenger front and rear but not cold on drivers front and rear unless running on circulation for 30+ minutes. Could freon be the issue in my case? Couldn't find problems with my blend door actuators.
That sounds like a blend door actuator issue. I’m uncertain if that year has one.
But do note that the passenger side will always be the coldest bc it’s closest to the blower.
How is your AC doing now since it's been a few months?
GREAT! It is now beginning to be winter, but we had a few warm days and it worked perfectly then and all summer!
did it leak? or this a temporary top off fix?
No, still running strong. It had to of had a small leak (probably around an o-ring). It fixed it and blowing cold air now.
