hey my name is Chris. thanks for posting that video. I am impressed with your setup. me and my dad are trying to do a setup with the Boston south station theme. we have been trying to find engines and passenger cars with the purple mbta commuter rail paint scheme and engine types. if you don't mind can you please give me some information on the engines that you have and where you got them and where did you get them painted. I'd appreciate the information so i can complete my layout. any help from you is appreciated.
+christian Hector hello, sorry for taking so long to reply to your post, Walthers currently makes an MBTA F40PH #1017 and they made the single level cars years ago, eBay is you best bet for cars, all the other engines i have are custom repaints, the latest one, HSP46, is a scratch build. Unfortunately there isn't a lot of MBTA stuff produced, you have to either make it or repaint trains. Good luck on your layout Chris.
Acela your jeep is pretty accurate what did you use for the base. Also what your tightest radius curve and turnout size as I am putting together my track plan right now. Bench work is done now refining and designing my track plan. Keep up the great work!
daniel kielty thanks, i used a gp40x and cut off the cab and replaced it with a details associates wide cab kit with modifications. the tightest radius i run is 22".
Joe Connolly i bought it at a local hobby shop, but you can find them online through online stores or ebay, its a details associates canadian wide cab kit.

Beautiful set!
As much as I dislike the HSP46 locos, I think you did a great job on yours! And I love how you got the prototypical plow on MP36 011.
Thank you another person who dislikes them
LOL No one likes the hsp46!
Why does the Mbta F40ph have a KATO amtrak p42 horn and sound?
he said it was a Kato F40 He Repainted
Nice Downeaster you got there! 😁
Beautiful.
Where do you buy the MBTA Rolling Stock?
Where did you get those mbta bi-levels?
+Sean Sauer I think he either bought them from island model works, or he repainted Bachmann bilevel coaches into MBTA scheme.
Awesome video and layout! I like the custom HSP46.
