really cool to see a troopy fit out that didn't cost the earth to build, just goes to show that we don't need all the flash and sparkle to enjoy a troopy life, well done Ian & Marita and keep the wheels turning guys, cheers
Love the Troopy talks - keep them coming, love how you guys split up the interview each taking a turn. Would love to know more about the couples in future, why they travel and what have they have learnt most about life since getting in their Troopy. Thanks again.
Thanks for the feedback. We were just talking about the same ideas and were wondering if people would be interested in the people and their stories. Cheers.
Great video, Pete. I bloody love the outback, having spent a lot of time in central NSW, and bits and pieces of the other states. Years ago, I was the photographer for 4X4 Australia (plus Car Australia & AMCN), but now shoot mainly landscapes. And to top it off, my name is Peter Fritz and I live in Melbourne too! So I guess we have a bit in common! New subscriber, here, mate, and keen to follow your future adventures. 👍😄🦘
Hey Pete... that's so cool that you've found me! I actually found out about you a couple of months ago as someone left a comment about how fantastic my photography channel was but they were actually referring to your channel. The even more confusing part was that I'm a landscape photographer as well but I worked it out and sent him back to your channel...haha. Thanks for the support and I'm glad you like our content...more coming soon. What are the chances of two Peter Fritz's living in Melbourne and being landscape photographers?? Cheers PF
@@fritzintroopy I know. I didn’t even think there was another Peter Fritz in the state. Bizarre! I hope we get to catch up in person sometime. BTW, I LOVE your mono images around the bay. 😄👍
I plan a thebiglap, in few years, plan to use 12+ month on the tour. Where is the best place in australia to buy a troopy ? Sydney, brisbane, Perth or?
Hi. Not sure there is a best place in Australia at the moment to buy one. They are incredibly expensive everywhere since COVID has begun with some second hand models selling in excess of new ones straight from the factory due to demand. Good luck in your search!
Hi Mr Fitzy love your channel I’m trying to find out simple measurement if you have your troop carrier without any lift kit on open both doors on the back how high is it from the ground to the point of the floor? thank you so much 😊
@@fritzintroopy yeah that’s correct I’m just waiting on the waitlist I should get my troopy probably the next month or so and I’m trying to work out the drawer system that I want to put in and I’m not sure how high is it from the ground thank you so much regards Mick
I'm totally confused, this guy says at start he's only done 40000km at start then a few minutes in he says he's done 100 thousands km in it , he also says he's done no mods then goes on about saying what he's done to it... I'm confused and think think of bloke had lost his nuts and bolts
Hi Glenn, he bought it with 40000km on it, you might like to rewatch the video. . His mods have been fairly minor. Please don’t insult my guests. He’s one of the nicest guys you’ll ever meet.
@@fritzintroopy i have watched it and I'm giving honest feedback and I've watched it a few times before commenting and he clearly states as per what I'm saying. If I'm wrong please by all means show me because your video is clear for all to see how confused about Kms modifications and fuel tanks and water tanks he was

Hi. We have a two inch lift on ours. I’m happy to measure though. Do you want from the ground to the inside floor height at the back? Just confirming.

@@fritzintroopy I’m sorry is that with 2 inch lift? Thank you so much absolutely fantastic keep on the good work on your channel love it 😊
@@milansablic yep. 2 inch lift and currently pretty empty in the back, no fuel in rear tank and no water in underneath tank
