Luis E. Pérez V. I'm not mad at her death it was pretty clear after the 5th episode that she has to go. However the beauty of that scene was that we've witnessed a tragic ending of the character that we've known since season 1 and followed her journey for 8 years. No matter how you feel about Daenerys or the fifth episode it was a sad falling of the queen who in the end could no longer see what was good and what was bad. I felt also bad for Jon it was obviously a painful desicion for him. So it kind of feels wrong to cheer and clap at that
I understand she had to die after what she did but like seriously?? They’ve been clapping and cheering for her and it’s all gone in one episode? It’s like they’re reacting for the sake of reacting.
@@deeya So everything can be blamed on the iron throne even when the thing he died for has nothing to do with it? No. He died because of the fight against the dead. It had nothing to do with the iron throne
I've seen book readers say that part of a persons soul is in their dragon. That's why Drogon didn't kill Jon and destroyed the throne. Her obsession with it had driven her mad and gotten her killed.
Those who cheered when Dany was stabbed certainly weren't fully emotionally invested in this whole series. This was the woman who had to put up with so much vile treatment from her brother. The woman who had to endure Drogo's roughness. The woman who liberated thousands of innocent people from slavery. The woman who risked her armies to save the world from certain destruction. The woman who was betrayed time and time again by those who were supposed to be loyal to her. Sure she went bananas and it was best for her to be put down, but that doesn't mean you have to give her the same treatment that scums such as Joffrey, Ramsay and Little Finger got. You don't spend 8 years falling in love with a character and then cheer for their death overnight.
@@pS-sv3pm Sure, and I agree with the fact that she went beyond reason and should've been put down (as I stated in my answer).. But I don't agree that it was nice to cheer for her death. I was devastated when Jon killed her, even though I understood that was necessary. I just assumed most people would feel the same way.
I've been watching from the beginning and cheered. It doesn't matter how much of angel you were if you slaughter thousands of people after, it's not like your built up good credit balances it out.
@@oscarvaldez6282 i mean, you mention scums like Joffrey, Ramsay and Little Finger... in just one scene, Daenerys outdid all of them combined. Well, maybe except Little Finger, since technically he alone plunged westeros in chaos. So, it is not so far fetched to feel like cheering for her death, after witnessing what she did.
Incredibly poetic that Drogon took it down in a mirror to Balerion creating the Throne. It's no secret Drogon is a smaller version of Balerion, I'm very glad at least one dragon survived the story.
Roman Gwizdak That’s not the thing that bothers me XD They were hyping her up until the last episode. Most of them appeared to be her fans. When she died they were cheering and I was like: ? So quickly?
@@devinchoc6122 As did the show! Sure there were instances of her showing no mercy, as Cersei did. But most of us thought pick the less of two evils. Most thought that lesser one would be Daenerys...silly us it turned out to be Cersei. Can we agree that it's a relief Drogon survived the show. I was sure all three dragons would die, at least one made it to the end. I know I'm not the only one who would have been annoyed if Drogon had been killed.
yeah same. like everyone forgot all the good she did. I know it doesn't make up for the innocence that were lost though but she still was one of my favorites..
Burning down the iron throne was so symbolic. It’s a symbol for breaking the wheel, reconfiguration of power, end of tyranny, many things. I love this scene mostly out of the entire season. Kit and Emilia killed it in this scene. I expected drogon to burn Jon and Jon would come out alive.
Same reaction...totally unfair and sad...she deserved better, she was betrayed by most of her allies and lost the ones who were loyal to her. Yesm she killed innocent people, just like many others characters like Ned, Stannis, even Jon and Tyrion caused the deaths of many innocents. Her ending is so sad, it's something to cry for, because she always wanted to be good, and was betrayed to the point she turned bad. Like Harvey Dent or Dark Willow with the exception that Willow was saved.
the fact that they turned on Dany for being a 1 episode villain and cheered for her death while sympathizing with Cersei's death last week. we only salute to captain america.
nrupa 99 haha it’s true. I felt bad when Cersei died but not when Dany did and I liked both characters. The only thing that made me tear up was the damn cgi dragon trying to wake her up. 😂
@@triawanintaiwan If a person is good for seasons, then murders innocents, it usually ends with people turning against them. Think on how good and just Stannis was until D&D got tired of him(they themselves said they didn't like him, which was why they took away his arc of freeing the North and taking down Asha/Yara and getting Mormonts, Umbers and Glovers on his side, along with the mountain clans)and made him kill Shireen for shock value, how fast people turned on him, even though he was actively trying to take down the Boltons and save Sansa. Thank you SeanTankTop and the Burlington Bar for this entire series of reactions. Was as excited for these as the actual episodes. THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING.
Everyone’s reaction to Drogon burning the throne was all of my feelings during that scene. Drogon basically said, “this throne stole my mothers life. If she can’t have it, no one will”
As soon as I saw everyone cheering for Dany’s death I stopped watching. How can people switch sides so quickly? Her death didn’t feel earned because her descent to “ madness” wasn’t earned either. It was just sad and tragic for her.
Unbelievable...poor writing.. How easily all who cheered Daenerys death were led. Phenomenal acting by Emilia and Kit... only saw shock and true feelings from SOME of the Original crew at Burlington... thanks for all the years of reacting, and the time you put into your exceptional editing 💚💙❤
In all honesty, Captain America is 100% real with his reactions. How can everyone cheer the death of the most tragic character in all GoT? I had the same reaction as him. Dany was the saddest death in my opinion, because she wasn’t bad, she was truly blinded because of his losses and her whole world falling apart. We can confirm she was truly kind hearted because of her past and everyone she liberated. She died thinking she was doing the right thing, and because of that, she truly couldn’t understand why Jon stabbed her. You can see her reaction.
She literally just burned alive 1 million civilians and said herself she wasn't done killing people yet. She was going for Sansa and then the other kingdoms.
She was many things. Kind, ruthless, loving, and unforgiving. However Hodor goes down as the saddest death for sure. Never cried so hard watching a movie or show. This was still really sad though was mostly sad for Drogon.
Alexis Ortega i know she would have, but if thing would have happened differently, she wouldn’t have become that way. The things that happened to her twisted her.
@@I_Eat_Crayons. She was a 1 episode villain. doesnt change the fact that she WAS good for years. and burning slavers doesnt make you a fucking tyrant dickhead.
And as usual the only reaction that seems logical (and worth watching) is the one coming from captain America. He seems to be the only one that really saw and understood the show
Yeah, Captain America seems like a decent person with natural reaction, while the rest look like they're acting before the camera in every video, not just this one
Yeah, it has always been painfully obvious that 90 percent of the people in these videos are faking their reactions. Heck, the green-haired girl, Morgan Drase, even labels herself as "GOT Crisis Actor at Burlington Bar" (whatever that is supposed to mean) on her Instagram. "Captain America" is the only one whose reactions always seemed genuine. Heck, these Burlington Bar folks also always react way differently than the rest of the fanbase, as if they don't even understand what's going on. They probably don't care about this show as much and just want their Internet fame. The only episode where we saw their REAL reaction was the last episode. Seeing little children being burned to death is too much even for these actors.
@@Incog2k6 to be fair, their reaction was interesting and normal when Sean's channel wasn't famous, things turned worse after they gained a little fame
Drogon broke my bloody heart in this scene. The end shot where he flies past & you see Dany in his claws, her white hair flowing & her arms dangling... I broke down into tears. The music was just heart wrenching. He knew that the throne was the reason his mother was dead. so he destroyed it.. never had so much love for a CGI character so much in my life.
@@KatsumiManami In the books, when rescued by Drogon in the fighting pit, Dany thinks that if she shows her fear to Drogon, he would kill her. Jon did the same thing. He did not show fear, he accepted his fate and in a way, bounded a bit with Drogon. Besides, knowing Drogon's connection with Dany, he likely did not want to really harm Jon, but was just lost in grief. Drogon and Jon started having a bit of a connection since S7E5. Drogon could have easily harmed Jon yes, but I don't think it makes no sense that he wouldn't, and burn the throne instead. Just like all of S7 and S8, the writing and build up for this moment could have been better, but in the grand scheme of things, I don't think it makes no sense, no.
Oh my god, these people are so mindless. They'll clap and cheer at any damn thing. They represent the worst of the fandom. Except for Captain America, of course.
Maybe they just like certain aspects of the show that you and others do not Andre. Have you ever thought about that? I did not care much for how this final season played out but at the same time I am not going to bash or criticize people who did like this final season. They are entitled to their opinions just as much as I am and you are.
@Hank Hill it's so funny actually. Danny became so powerful in the last few seasons that it was 100% surity that she is going to win the iron throne. But the writers D D thought they need to give a surprising ending and the only way to do it was to make her look bad. And after the last episode, people hate Danny more than Ramsy, Cercei and even Stannis. I hope DD burns in hell.
When Dany burns people alive and they cheer its good? And when Dany dies and they cheer they are representing the worst form of humanity. Go get a life you Moron
Jon killed Dany was so heartbreaking. For the past seven seasons, she was our hero. We cheered for her to bring peace to the shitty kingdoms. I know what she did was wrong, and it can never be forgiven. But, she was once indeed our greatest hope. She was our Queen. She may have been corrupted by power, and i will forever blame the Iron Throne just like Drogon. It's been a pleasure to see your journey, Daenerys Stormborn of the House Targaryen, First of her name, Queen of the Andals and The First men, Protector of the seven kingdoms, The Khaleesi of the great grass sea, The mother of dragons, The unburnt, The breaker of chains You should've never come to Westeros 😢😢 Farewell, Daenerys Targaryen 😢 And now my watch has ended!
Really poor writing, i feel bad for Daenerys, season 1-5 was the true Daenerys with good heart, but after that it just become tv series, i know the book will be different. I dont believe she will ever go to westeros.
Dany had PTSD from losing Jorah, Missandei and the dragon. Sansa spread Jon’s secret to sow dissension in Dany’s ranks because she wanted her to self destruct. It worked.
Puneeth Kumar they cheer for her „badass“ „omg queen“ they cheer for her when she does bad things they’re like going along with it actually like the people in KL

Who else is incredibly cool with the fact the dragon survived. To be honest I'd have been okay with every single character dying if Ghost and Drogon made it to the end. I would have been very disappointed had either been killed.
Now we know why the show thinks it's good writing to turn a beloved character into hitler over the course of 2 episodes: because most people actually are stupid enough to go along with it. Or the casual viewers at least.

I don’t disagree with the fact that Daenerys turned Mad Queen at the end, but I did not and won’t ever cheer for her death. She was my favorite character, and her story is tragic. It still tears me up that she had to go out like this, and poor Drogon.
Thought the same thing. Honestly screw all of them who cheered. Even if you thought Dany had to die, there was nothing to cheer or be happy about here. This was heart breaking.
I got so annoyed when she literally got stabbed by the love of her life and they cheered, unbelievable. She deserved so much more than the writers gave her, she was the hero for so many years and then they decided to make her the villain and delete everything good she has done until now and her vision of a better world. She was my favourite character, I was sobbing and crying so hard for an hour after her dearh scene, she deserved better. RIP my khaleesi I will always remember you❤
Fans who hate on Dany are the worst. And D & D are shitheads for doing this to her amazing character. But I still don't think she's a villain, I never did! I sympathize with her and don't blame her one bit.
She's been a villain the whole time. Manipulative, narcissistic, delusions of grandeur, the whole package. Just like her brother. We sympathized with her because she was victimized by Viserys, but that doesn't make her a good person.
@@Red-Brick-Dream -- "The whole time".... just shut the hell up with that absolute bullshit statement already. You just hate dany so much, you're even willing to resort to inaccuracies against her. But its fiction, and I'm not one of those fans who stops loving a character because of something they did.
@@Red-Brick-Dream Exactly. I sometimes thought I was the only one who saw through her hypocrisy of claiming to make the world a better place, but doing exactly what any evil tyrant would have done. Did they really cheer when he stabber her ? I didn't except that. I saw the episode in the cinema (my town made a special night for this) and NO ONE clapped or cheered or anything. We were all speechless and sad.

@@whitnale018 Anyone can be perceived as righteous then, Cersei did everything in the interest of her children and that's righteous in some sense. A lot of the characters are righteous but it doesn't justify the horrible things they have done.
siddhartha subramani difference is cersie spent her life doing it. Fully aware of her actions. Dany spent her whole trying to save people and when she lost almost everything the little that remained turned on her when she needed then the most. @Connor G 1st of all, yes its stupid ass writing and her descent into madness didnt make sense. And second of all, the other people you mentioned didnt have dragons. If they did, they would have done a lot worse. She literally had dragons and thats why the effect is larger. it baffles me when people compare her to Cersei or Aerys. Aerys was a guy who enjoyed raping his wife after burning somebody cuz it turned him on. He literally used to laugh when people burned. If you noticed, they didnt show Dany's face during the burning even once.
@Connor Gthank you. At least someone is capable of rational thought. These Dany stans refuse to see that their beloved Queen turned heel and thousands of innocent people suffered for it. Millions more across planetos had Jon not stopped her. Unfortunately they're either hardcore fanatics for tyranny or too immature to see the realization that this Dany is not the same Dany we followed for 8 seasons prior. They rather bury their heads in the sand and scream 'nuh uh' or throw insults at anyone with an opposing viewpoint. Clearly these aren't the most stable group of individuals if they can justify genocide. If anything, they should be mad at D&D for truly murdering her character to such a degree, but then, she's not there only victim of hack writing. Dorne, Stannis, Selmy are a few examples of D&D butchering the story to such atrocious levels of piss n shit.
So that means Hitler was too and every terrorist that is out there. A lot of people in the show went through worse but didn't kill people without any goddamn reason.

hollywood ria I mean... she did torch a city full of innocent people, and was planning on torching the rest of the world...
Luis E.
Same. They were cheering for her badass scenes in the previous episodes

Butthole Surfer lmfao 😂😂😂😂
Had me crying even after years.
Yes but she was the mad queen who would have burned down the whole world
@@pS-sv3pm Sure, and I agree with the fact that she went beyond reason and should've been put down (as I stated in my answer).. But I don't agree that it was nice to cheer for her death.

@@KatsumiManami In the books, when rescued by Drogon in the fighting pit, Dany thinks that if she shows her fear to Drogon, he would kill her. Jon did the same thing. Drogon could have easily harmed Jon yes, but I don't think it makes no sense that he wouldn't, and burn the throne instead. Just like all of S7 and S8, the writing and build up for this moment could have been better, but in the grand scheme of things, I don't think it makes no sense, no.

Execpting that it is a lot sader this time because we got to see Daenerys for 8 seasons...
I don’t disagree with the fact that Daenerys turned Mad Queen at the end, but I did not and won’t ever cheer for her death. She was my favorite character, and her story is tragic. It still tears me up that she had to go out like this, and poor Drogon.
Dracarys to all the people who cheered when Dany died Dracarys!!!
@@DeandreSteven that thumbnail image is Kylie...dumbass!!!
Thought the same thing. Honestly screw all of them who cheered. Even if you thought Dany had to die, there was nothing to cheer or be happy about here. This was heart breaking.
Why are you all upset that people cheered? You think Danny doesn't deserve to die after what she did?
AAAEA Doesn’t matter if she deserved it, it’s tragic that this is where her story ended after everything. Nothing to be happy about.
Emerald Wolf did you cherred when Stannis die?
I got so annoyed when she literally got stabbed by the love of her life and they cheered, unbelievable. She deserved so much more than the writers gave her, she was the hero for so many years and then they decided to make her the villain and delete everything good she has done until now and her vision of a better world. She was my favourite character, I was sobbing and crying so hard for an hour after her dearh scene, she deserved better. RIP my khaleesi I will always remember you❤
She's still not a villian. Never was. You should think more about what kind of character Dany represents. Personally I think it was brilliant
It was a gradual buildup with events and circumstances that unfolded around her. She was never truly "at fault" until she decided to burn kings Landing down with the innocents.
Add to that her delusion that she's the greatest person who ever lived and that the whole planet belongs to her, and you've got a really terrible character.

Dany: betrayed by the only person she love at the moment and stabbed her in the heart, literally heartbroken
@•ᴥ• How is Dany's death poetic?
@@whitnale018 Righteous? She killed more innocnets in one day than Cersei has in her lifetime
Heroes lose their way all the time and many times there are friends who help them comeback. Dant wasnt so lucky. Her real friends all died saving the ones who ended up turning on her.

rest in pieces. you have a cult of personality and no true morality. and "true queen"? no. Targaryens were overthrown, thus they have no claim
Cheering at Dany's death is the least accepts thing to me.She was a victim of her circumstances .
@Connor G Shutup Conor you moron
Nikhill R yes Cersei was evil and would burn the city if she had a dragon but we accept that Cersei is evil do you accept that Daenerys is evil too?
So that means Hitler was too and every terrorist that is out there. A lot of people in the show went through worse but didn't kill people without any goddamn reason.
Drogon should have burned down yall along with Jon.
lmao!! Totes
No no, I'll tell you better, Danerys should have killed Jon and after destroying the Kings Landing with all the citizens, she should have burned everyone, I mean if Sansa didn't bend the knee she should have burned the whole North right? Same in the other Kingdoms, if Edmure didn't kneel she should have burned the whole Riverland and you got it... I just want to say you guys are too brainless if you think that Jon did a wrong thing, and you can't even explain why Jon was incorrect to kill Daenerys
