returned home to my ‘09 H3 after a week of sitting unused, and my Viper keyless entry remote couldn’t even open the doors. Inside there were no interior lights, and when I tried to start the engine, the key became stuck and couldn’t be removed. I charged the battery overnight with two different chargers which now both say the battery is full and showing 12.8V. interior lights are now coming on and look strong but the car still won’t start, and now the pioneer 2din head unit display is stuck showing the backup camera view, which can’t be turned off manually. Turning the key to start the engine only shows the check engine light which goes away when you turn the key back away from starting position, but no other clicks beeps, or lights showing on the dash and key still can’t be removed. I tried disconnecting the ground/black battery cable for an hour and then reconnected but the same problem . Then I disconnected BOTH battery cables and let it sit for an hour or so. This finally fixed everything, and it was able to start right up. My aftermarket gear > 1. Viper remote-start/keyless entry/alarm w/shock sensor (connected to the factory horn). 2. older Pioneer 2din with external GPS adapter and backup camera
I should add that I still have no idea what caused the battery drain, as I am pretty sure the alarm system was disarmed while we were traveling and we only locked the doors manually. I did have the H3 in for troubleshooting the Viper alarm system a few weeks prior, because the alarm was going off randomly for no reason. But I was told they didn’t find any bad connections, and really could only try adjusting the shock sensor’s sensitivity, which did seem to stop the false alarms so far. my car audio shop won’t admit it, but I have a feeling the alarm system may not have been installed properly from the start, and they may not have added the wiring to bypass the factory GM alarm. Also, I don’t remember why they didn’t install a separate Viper siren rather than connect to the factory horn, but maybe they gave me the choice. I had a similar issue with false alarms with a Viper system in a 2010 Kia Sedona, and it turned out to be they never ran the bypass of the factory alarm. The battery itself could be the culprit, which is a Duralast that is not too far out of warranty, but each time I have it professionally tested it seems to check out.
Hi there any one can help I have a hummer h3 2008 has running issues stab system on service on when I change the relay number 78 run\crnk it’s r8ns perfect but if I leave the car a few weeks does same again until I change the relay again and then it’s ok looks like keeps blowing it any ideas please

Bonjour Elie, le dispositif du video est un systeme d'alarme acheter et non l'original. Si tu as le dispositif original d'anti-vol. Il faut que le systeme soit réinitialisé. Fait une recherche sur comment réinitialisé l'anti-vol. Bonne chance!
Hi there , my H3 2006 , was put in storage for almost 1 year now , and i disconnected the negative battery because of Storing the car and save the battery from draining , but today i went there to check my car in the garage Parking and connected the Battery , then after inserting the car Key , a message came in the form of a Sign saying that the Engine is Blocked ! and i could not start the car , then suddenly there was not more Power , i guess the battery is Discharged [ is that possible because even i disconnected the Battery Terminal i could have been discharged ? ] and they KEY would not come out of the switch either !! , so i left the car with the key on the Switch and the Battery disconnected from the Negative terminal , could you be able to tell me what should i do ? I would try to Charge the battery first [ by the way the Check Engine light came out too !! ] , and then retry , but do you know what are the best course of action please ? Thank you much .
Hi wow that's new to meet never seen a message saying engine block , ok if the engine was running when you park it there a year ago , a car can be siting for longer then 5 years and it will not get lock up , tray to rotate the engine by hand , then try hitting the starter more likely your starter is lock up.
Hola Nestor espero y hables Espanol, tengo un problema con una 06 h3 que compre, el problema que me descargaba la bateria y me di cuenta que el radio se prendia Solo, y hoy quise prenderla y estaba descargada, le puse una bateria de otro troca y prendio pero luego se apago, y ahora nomas prende todo Luces, el tablero todo normal, nomas no da marcha como si no tuviera bateria que crees que pueda ser? De antemano Muchas gracias ojala pudieras orientarme in poco.
Y otra cosa antes si hacia el beep cuando ponia la llave, y ahora ya no hace tampoco ese beep, repito todo prende normal, vidrios Luces, direccionales, clapson, nomas no da marcha como si estuviera sin bateria.

Very nice! All the beeps and alarm chimes go through the radio on h3. If you change the radio, then no more beeps.

There will be two fuse but most alarm will have a wire that will be cut if you don't put it back together the car will not start

They guy told me needed fuel pump and I replaced it and still don’t cranks 😔
A bad fuel pump will not make a car not to crank
