i can see why you wouldn't animate the whole thing, but i'd have loved to see your take on real Cadence's wild mane as opposed to Chrysalis's neat curls. If you do still drawings or a storyboard of it in the future id be stoked
Yeah that’s the plan if ppl want it! I would love to animate the whole thing but if 20 seconds took 38 hours it would take 228 hours and I do not have that kinda time.
I’m in no way an artist but I completely feel this, beating your app into submission, having your computer crash(it was multiple times on the same piece where I didn’t save enough), going way over estimated time, and struggling on a part that was supposed to be way easier than it was for you. Also as someone who has an artist for a sibling you learn that it’s about having fun and doing something you like, even if the original is better or higher quality, that doesn’t mean yours isn’t good in its own right. I love the art and animation, if you like it then keep doing it, as long as you’re happy and healthy. Remember to drink water and eat food, have a nice day

And programs crashing is why I don't fw computers anymore omfg 😭 I've only lost progress once on an iPad but billions of times on windows Also with that after effects thing omg you're a real trooper for trying to get that decade old after effects file to do anything lmao. Like that's so crazy to me I'm glad it worked for you 😭😭😭 And leaving in mistakes on animation is a freaking mood but this came out SO BEAUTIFULLY

i do the same thing with listening to art youtubers while making art! I also do a similar thing with writing: there's a youtuber named ColeyDoesThings that has a bunch of wonderfully made videos on fandom, and I listen to specific videos when writing certain things because they inspire me
