Just discovered / sub'd to your channel and as a long time d-beat fan I'm digging the insights. Perhaps some day in the future you could interview the drummer Charlie from Anti-Cimex to hear more about how he developed his technique? He seems like an interesting dude to talk to. He runs the A-C FB page.
I appreciate your videos so very much finding your channel was a goldmine keep it up with the content I again appreciate your passion for good music - lilskeptix P.s why don’t you try covering a skeptix song I know it’s a little less distorted or rather not dbeat just saying it make my day 👍
Now i am start learning dbeat, i've question for this video, is you play the right hand for the cymbal and left for snare alternate? Or you hit it together? Please, i need your answer🙏🏻
is it me or at that bpm you keep moving your foot non stop? I noticed that when going fast using the impulse of the pedal to keep going is faster than stopping for a snare and returning to move, is it right?
Hey Travis, I would say even though I'm not the best at the technique, that practice is what will be able to keep you going longer. I have been playing Drums for 17 years, and D Beat for about 15 so to me I feel is just muscle memory now.
I’m very happy about this channel. Great playing too! Up the crusties.
Thanks man!
Omg i enjoy this classic song and especially your awesome playing!

Yes pretty much. It becomes much harder to keep D-Beat at that rate. For me anyways... perhaps I'm sure someone's done a better job, but you're right!
Do wheel of life!

'Wictims' of a Bombraid. More Lemmy than Cal. Great song however
How do you keep your foot going so long with out fatigue? I’m struggling keeping it going for long periods of time.
