BlobGamer 19818 I found out that A did a lot of things while looking through the controls, so I tried it with many things, one being shields. Once I did, it gave me the little thing on the top right telling me that it was a shield parry, so I tried it out, not to mention that I’m an avid Zelda player and shield parrying is in a couple other Zelda games as well. I didn’t forget about it because I always go guardian hunting, and the easiest way to take them out is shield parrying

And I can survive any battle. I beat a golden Lynel without taking damage. Try doing that when enemies can heal. And no, I used no speedrun tricks. Only intended mechanics. I also have 360 ancient arrows, 8 ancient shields (800 durability) fully powered master sword, 100 attack savage Lynel sword, 116 attack royal guard claymore, 75 attack ancient battle axe ++, 60 attack guardian sword ++, and 57 attack royal guard spear. Those are all the highest possible attack in natural spawns.
Funny story back when I was younger I was close to killing a guardian and my dumb ass thought it would be good to listen to the whole song and I wasn’t paying attention and the guardian killed me
I love the guardians in BotW. They are easily the coolest enemies in the game. Their difficulty is a little easier than I would like them to be, but when you find them in groups it can be a real challenge to defeat them all. The music for them is great as well. Really scares you on your first try.

I beat up guardians plenty of times… but the theme just gives me 10000000000+% anxiety and boosts my stress levels. Especially when I’m not directly above the guardian’s head.
@Miguel Radmann bad tip, dude. For bows it's either ancient arrows or go home (unless you only need to get his all seeing eye off of you). What you do is you take your most powerful weapon (hopefully have urbosa's fury handy), smash his legs, then, spam attack him with your most powerful weapon or charge attack, if it's a 2 handed one.

Hearing the song without their beeps + laser makes me relax a little. But when hearing the intro, i just suddenly have this fear come up. I do agree that they are a bit easy to deal with, if you have the hylian shield if your one of the players who don't want a shield that keeps breaking on you during the middle of a battle. Extremely useful against SINGLE guardians. A group of them is harder, like the ones under the maze at the upper right corner.
