A worthwhile result , lovethese cars, I’ve had beamers, opel, Audis and now come back to the A3 2,0tdi. Great balance of fab mpg and performance after a simple stage 1 remap and £35 tax / year. It’s all the car I need , the Audi I’ve enjoyed most having owned previously the A5 & A4 3.0 L Tdi Quattro . Matt, on the not saving lives thing. This used to bother me when I worked in film. I now head a charity and I do find it more rewarding. But surprise surprise it ain't all perfect and there are loads of frustrations. Two points basically: 1. you are already doing lots to save cars and people, as others are pointing out. And with your profile and hopefully continued success who knows where else you can go with the saving the world agenda. A depimp my ride series is a must in my view by the way.
Loving your 'distain' of the 'after market accessories' 😂A very clean car internally, not like many other cars you buy, and cared for too - a Smooth FM drifter driver, the only doughnuts are the ones consumed.
I love these, but in my experience viewing them recently, they all seem to have random oil leaks / oil burning issues.. But they seem great value for money.
Talk about Need for Speeded. I half expected hydraulic suspension, a boombox in the boot and a PlayStation wired in 😂. Someone's clearly driven through Halford's and has a mate from the store called Kevin.
The creaking is well known on Audis 2013 onwards , my A3 does it especially over bumps at very slow speed , it’s the rubber top mounts will go of replaced
Highly entertaining video. I had to laugh at the number of times “tat” and “naff” were used. I couldn’t agree more. Part of me is kinda sorry that the A4 wasn’t sold on the forecourt - just to see what it might have fetched in the end.
This Audi was certainly a bling feat. It looks much better now. I do like some car mods, but others such as the ones here, make the car look tacky. Great content as always Matt❤.
Great stuff again Matt. I just wonder if you had fixed the brakes, MOT and changed the tyres/ wheels while leaving on all the lights and stickers, would have you sold it for a big lump of crumpled cash to a cool dude.
Check the oil pump shaft. The 2.0 TDI is notoriously vulnerable to the oil pump drive shaft failure problem, which is well documented. It’s not a widespread issue, but it does happen.
really like the way you approach a car assessment from first visual impression to history research and driving the vehicle. personally i would worry about a water pump failure and i find it amazing that such a quality manufacturer as Audi would fit such a weak vulnerable critical component that requires replaced so frequently. why? and is there better quality aftermarket pumps available?
Was out working today did a delivery round Stockport area and ended up in a area I weirdly recognised just happend to be the little car park where cars are usually left opposite Romiley garage
The digital service history is a nightmare if you are buying 2nd hand. Dealers rarely have the hx and Audi won't assist. Recently looked at several B9 A4 Avant's claiming FSH and was never able to lay hamds on it. Every BMW I looked at claiming FSH had a FSH available.Bought a Beemer.

He's been making surprise visits on a couple of car channels on RUclips lately. Promoting his Gin. Created it for fun, just messing around. Then it turned into a hobby when he opened up his own Bar. Whilst I completely concur with your comments re the led lights and the steering wheel cover the wind deflectors and tint (although in this case too dark) are generally a positive. I live in Australia and a window tint is essential to better avoid UV damage to the cars interior and to keep the internal temperature down in the summer when the car sits. As for wind deflectors they prevent the pressure waves that hurt your ears when a window is open whilst driving and enable the interior to be comfortable without using, or perhaps having, air conditioning. I love your content but perhaps you are a bit ‘up tight’ re certain things. Of course you are a successful car trader so what do I know! Keep up the great work.
