We also did Emily's route in mid-August and yes, I got the stinging nettle treatment too (when going down to a creek to get water). The chunky section just off Joyce Access Rd on the return portion was no joke. I had to walk the bike like a hundred yards before I gained enough confidence to ride it.
How cool to meet people that follow your chanel Your adventures are getting notice because people are drawn towards good people Your adventures always fun and entertaining and the places you go are top notch Thanks for taking us along you make them an we'll keep watching
Although lots steep climbing and narrow switchbacks for a loaded bike if y’all ever return to Lk Crescent area, must do ride is Mt Mueller, awesome 360 views at top. Really enjoyed your great video, much appreciated.
My sons and I visited the Olympic peninsula years ago and I remembered how beautiful lake crescent was. I was thinking about it during the video and noticed a lake in your video and thought is that lake crecent? Sure enough it was. The water is crystal clear. Loved that vacation. We went to Sol Duc springs. Went all the way to the ocean. It was a car trip as my son's were small. Cool video. I love the PNW. Never mtb'd there. Have family in Seattle area. One day maybe.
Hi! Yes here are the strava tracks we used from Emily who posted a comment on bikepacking.com: disq.us/url?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.strava.com%2Factivities%2F7522875158%3AMhufSxWyNz69SMNNVn09FuR3VQ8&cuid=1800067

Nice that’s awesome! I never got the hang of biking on the chunky stuff. What’s the secret to being able to?

Thanks for the rec! We will have to check that out someday.
Enjoyable. You should do a few rides in California. Wine country and redwoods are must trys. It's the best weather wise, somewhat hot 🔥.
Отличное путешествие🚜👣😊
Another great video, Thanks!
Glad you enjoyed it! 🙌🏼

The purplesh flowers are fireweed
Aww nice! Thanks for commenting.
Do you hate the outdoors sometimes like I do after the wrong weather or temperature bugs etc. Lol
What bit you on the leg after all?
We don’t know…either a wasp or a hornet. We tried to look it up afterwards but it was too hard to identify. They all look quite similar 😅
@@PursuingMountains yeap that hurts 😕
Pedal assist isn't motorized. No throddle
Total sympathy with the wasp bites. We had a nest in our garden and I got three or four in one go. Horrible!
