Genuinely the best bag I've ever used. I've used it for literally every mtn trip the past year. Sunset/sunrise missions, quick overnight trips, all the way up to multi-day backpacking and backcountry ski trips. It carries weight extremely well for how light it is and the built in camera access is absolutely ideal. Legendary bag Alex, thanks for making it!
I'm not a photographer and I pre-ordered this bag after excessive research on ultralight packs. Can't wait to get it! Nice work on the design and testing!
Getting very excited for this to arrive! I have a Shimoda bag and it's good but it's big, heavy, straps not padded, no back airflow, has too many pockets, and was not comfy on a recent 6 day thru hike. Doesn't extend big enough for someone tall like me with 22in back. Hope this one does! 16-35mm and 70-200mm is my optimal landscape lens pair.
What an awesome bag!!! Please design one for overnight winter hikes too please :) just need that little extra space for a larger tent and -20degree sleeping bag :)
Are the shoulder mesh pockets adjustable? To me they seem WAY too high. (chances are I've been missing out my entire life and the placement is actually good)
Thanks for the review! Would it be possible to use a taller ICU, even though only the bottom part of it would be exposed when opened from the back? I was thinking about the MK-1 Camera Cube from Boundary Supply (top part of it for a drone + other tech accessories), or some other ICU that's open - without having to deal with a fixed cover.
Alex sir you amazing and the one of my best hiking man. So here is my request to you do a one vide on Hiking gear like- Clothes Bag Shoes (which you use) Camping Please do a video on all gear you use in hiking.
Hey Alex, this bag looks amazing! Have you tested it out with climbing gear yet? I'm on the hunt for a bag that would fit my camera gear and climbing gear (harness, rope, shoes, biners, slings, etc)
@@alexstrohl thank you! I typically do day trips to sport climbing areas so I’m happy to hear it fit all the gear. Got mine ordered now, can’t wait for July 😆
Hi Alex, I just found you on RUclips, because of the review of the new bag. I am going on an expedition to kirgistan to summit an over 7000m high peak and your backpack would be perfect, because I am planning on shooting a documentary, about that expedition. Unfortunately it is out of stock and it won’t be here in time if I wanted to buy it, so I wanted to ask you if it is possible to get my hands on one in advance. It would be absolutely perfect + I could prove that it works in the toughest conditions. In Regards, Ron Klokkers

Yes! I am so excited about this! Always been struggling with packing for the outdoors and my camera gear. Amazing :)

Preordered mine the other day. I can’t wait to get this bag. “Mega Dialed”
Where can I find all of the gear you use (sleeping bag, stove, tarp etc.) ?
This looks exactly like what I've been looking for! Wish i could have it for this summer!

What sleeping pack did you have packed down into that blue sea to Summit drypack?
Nice one, already in the shopping cart. Just one quick question: any instruction on how to carry a tripod with this backpack? thanks!
My question exactly!
Hey Alex, Will the yellow backpack in large size become available again?
"I'm blue, da ba dee da ba daa" - Alex while choosing his gear

I finally found the perfect backpack!
Hey Alex so there is no torso adjustment. Right?
Its possible to carrie a 13inch macbook inside? Is there a inside stretch pocket or so ...?
Does it only fit the Canon RF 70-200 or does it also fit other regular 70-200 lenses (which are bigger)?

Did a winter mission in the alps and we had all crampons, harnessed, slings and rope. Was tight but winter multi day epics require like a 75L!!

This bag can definitely take a beating!
looks awesome
does it have a rain coat? haven't seen it ☔
would be quite important
Doesn't need it. The material is properly weather resistant and the inside is seam taped so the main compartment will be safe from water ingress.
You can get a generic one that fits the size at any store if you want double rain protection
Does it have potential to fit a drone set😍
Have you ever tried the 66north snaefell jacket?

Hey, dig the pack! Could you attached ski's in A frame or diagonally to this?
You ever find an answer to this? That's my main question as well.
@@zachwiegert2079 nope, but have since gone with a different pack / packing philosophy.
Overall I think this is looks awesome. My one critique, I feel like if you needed to bring a bear canister along there wouldn't be enough room...
How does the little camera loader bag connect via peak design clip? Watched all of the videos doesn't really show how it connects.
I think they have a few photos of how on the moment website. I remember seeing it but it not in videos
Really nice backpack😍👍
Looks really nice!😍I will definitely get one! Will there be a bigger version of this bag? 👍
I believe there's 3 sizes and per his previous video, he uses a medium. So I think so !
@@lelay4377 Thats just a different torso length, depending on your hight i think! :)
what shoes are those? white with yellow laces?
Hope Alex replies :) I want them too 🤣
awesome!
❤️❤️❤️❤️
tank you
