for those who doesn't understand:
7: there's 7 groups participating the show
4: there's 4 rounds
2: two groups will be eliminated in the middle of the show. (the first one after the second round and the second one after the third round, the group with the lowest point)
1: The group which goes to "KINGDOM" will be the one who has #1 when all points of the 4 rounds are accumulated. However, there will be one more chance, if the group wins #1 in the last round, they can go to "KINGDOM" as well. That means if the #1 accumulated and the #1 in the last round are the same, only one team out of these 7 will be on "KINGDOM"

So from what I understand:
Road to Kingdom is different from Queendom
There's 4 missions but not everybody can do them, 2 teams are gonna be eliminated. One after the second mission (lowest points) and one after the third mission (lowest points).
The first place winner is decided based on the votes they get from each missions and on the finale
But there's one more chance, the team who has the highest votes on the finale can also join Kingdom
But if it's the same team then only one group will join kingdom
I'm not fluent tho so it may not be totally accurate

I really want to support this show since I'm a multi. This elimination things make me lost interest. I just want all the boy groups can get their recognition that they deserved, enjoying the performance that they prepared and be friend with each other.
This show is no different with pd101 series.

So im guessing OneUs asked the question "does it mean if the #1 in the last round, and the one who got the highest number of votes accumlated in the 4 rounds, are the same, only 1 team will go to Kingdom?"
yeah so one group will get to go based on the live performance and if another group has the most cumulative votes, they can go as well. if the winning group has the most votes, they're the only group going

I was excited for this show now that they have a elimination system, I refuse to watch this show. Mnet is trying to start fanwars between fandom and I refuse to be part of it. To the talented groups in Road to Kingdom good luck on your next comeback and dont worry about being eliminated because Mnet WILL multiple the votes again. Of course only Mnet could mess up something that is so easy to pull off, just have the idols perform their best, they cant perform if they're stressed of elimination. Mnet uses the misery of idols to get ratings so I'm done. Mnet cant do anything correctly.
we should be able to do this without fanwars. i'm just mad that this gave the groups and the fanbases hope for the group...i know i was super excited because i was hoping pentagon could get fans like how gidle did even tho gidle never won...but if they were to get eliminated, they can't get those fans because they won't be on the show :(

@@AN-cq1ve no. it was never said that it should be 2 consecutive rounds. Whichever round, as long as you've been in the bottom, twice, will get you eliminated.
Its better that two teams pass than 1. It's more chances of atleast being competent for the "Kingdom" where some of already popular idols will be. HUHUHUHU
i want to know how they're going to gauge the "popular" groups. because there's all kinds of popular and there's all kinds of unfairness for the groups that just have generally large fanbases (bts exo), the groups with large korean fanbases (got7, astro), the groups that only have large international fanbase (ikon, ateez)...cuz rtk is already unfair, the contrast between tbz's fanbase size and too's fanbase size is unreal. ik a lot of ppl were comparing pentagon's seniority but we don't have a lot of fans and we are really bad at str3aming + we don't have a LOT of korean fans :(( anyway i hope they don't make it super unfair for kingdom too
@@megan-wl1ym kingdom will be a huge chaos if it's really happening. Sure, there're fandoms who already friends with each other like monbebe and carats, but for the other I'm not sure. There'll be so much fanwars. Popular groups got many toxic fans, as the consequences of popularity. And for the popular groups, I don't think groups like bts or exo will come to the show. Like what's the point? They're already there on the top of the chains/pyramid. Just like how twice, rv, or blackpink didn't show up in queendom.

As a small fandom tbh we really need to go to "KINGDOM" If we don't win there atleast they have showcased what they got as an idol and it is for those who watches to think whom they hink is the best. Tbh I love how they let all the groups to vote and not the fans in RTK. I don't know if that would be the case for KINGDOM but let's all hope for the best. They joined because they want too and all we could do as a fan is to help them reach that goal of them. Let's forget about KINGDOM first and just focus on their journey in RTK. With regards to the unfairness of the # of fans I think it doesn't matter for now because every groups are voting for the performance that they like. idk in the last part but they joined although they are beginners because they too want to be recognized and show what they have to offer. They see this as an opportunity for them maybe that's why they accepted it desoite the fact that they are beginners. They are the one who decided to join in the first place right? I just hope for the success of all these griups because they are all talented...

2 groups will be eliminated in the half part of rtk
1 group will proceed to Kingdom with all scores from 4 stages combined
+ possibility of 2 groups proceed to Kingdom if they got the highest vote in final stage but if there is group who already got no 1 in scores combined and also in final stage = only 1 group can proceed to Kingdom.

Ah of course, the elimination method where the ones who have a more established fanbase has a greater advantage. Now I'm saying this for fans to be offended for I am a multifan as well. I'm saying this because MNET changing the rules into elimination method is so unfair because as we all know all the groups that are included in this show debuted in different years and so some of them just established their own fanbase while some already established theirs for years. Road to Kingdom would have been way better if they used the same rules as queendom where they showcased each group's talent performance without eliminating anyone.
I love all the groups, but I hate the rules.
i wish they did it like QUEENDOM that was the charm of it no eliminations and giving chances to the artists to show more

Nah I don't agree. If you watch Queendom, you will know it is better before. I mean if Queendom have elimination process like RTK. We won't see amazing performance by KeixHwasa (also Lovelyz performance), G-Idle - Lion & put it straight. Bcuz they placed last in one of the episode.
this definitely is not nice. elimination after two rounds is brutal. it was fair on queendom because all groups had time to show their talents and personalities, get acknowledged by the general public and get fans and supporters for the show. with this, groups (especially TOO since they hadn't even debuted yet when this and the next episode were filmed) don't have time or performances to establish themselves as artists before being eliminated. with queendom, we could see all talents of each group because the whole show was literally just showing performances of all groups without eliminations. no groups were let go. but here it's literally a matter of popularity which is unfair cuz the reason we're here is because they aren't popular....? and they have drastically different sized fandoms, look at the difference between the boyz and too's fanbases. it's crazy and so unfair for TOO, even if all groups were like up10tion onf and mcnd, it would be tough because they might as well have been born yesterday, their presence in the industry is so small
I would give up watching the show if Golcha were ever got eliminated. But I trust Golcha, they will do their best💪🏻

Based on my research, Road to Kingdom is different to KINGDOM itself. In KINGDOM, the winners of RtK will have to compete with more "known" groups in the industry. Rtk is created also in the hopes that the group that will win in Rtk will have a FAIR chance against those known groups in KINGDOM.
Thats basically why almost all the groups here in RtK are rookies except Pentagon. RtK will helo them with supports and Fans as against those fandoms of the much more known groups that will be participating in KINGDOM.

So if these rules are correct from what people say this show is not the male version of Queendom its the prequel to Kingdom. So Kingdom would probably be later this year with groups that have won at least once on Mnet like with Queendom or are always in the top of the music charts but haven't won. I see Kingdom maybe being SF9, Stray Kids, Monster X, and Astro at least. But I would say I wouldn't be surprised to see CIX, Seventeen, AB6IX, NU'EST, TXT, A.C.E., or a solo artist like a Wanna One former member or someone that left their company like Park Bom did such as ZICO. I do not see Got7, NCT groups, Super Junior, Big Bang, or BTS being part of it.
Bruh I came here to support them since I was a multi, and there's Mnet put this eliminate, I didn't want a survival show I just want a friendship . There's no one will cry , enjoy the performance. I don't care about the win things I just love them all and friendship bruh ;) ,this eliminate things made me scared ;) . I just hope there's no fanwar

I see some confusion, This is road to Kingdom, it is not the same as Queendom. The winner will go and be able to participate in the actual Kingdom, which is the make version of Queendom. Hope that clears the confusion up.

Maybe bc this it's not the actual Kingdom and it's more like a "get a place for Kingdom" (but even so, how cruel Mnet, one of the reasons why Queendom got a lot of audience was bc of the interactions)
There will be kingdom which the same as queendom..this road to kindom just want to choose for them to be able in kingdom
because they're the underrated and not known groups. they haven't established themselves to be "royalty" in a sense as in the general public hasn't fully appreciated their talents on the same scale as major groups. kingdom will be another show for the bigger boy groups, and the winner(s) of rtk have a chance to go on kingdom. it's road to kingdom because they're trying to get the crown in the show like how all idols are trying to get a win and love/fans in the industry

from what I can guess it might be top groups maybe? Like groups already super popular so maybe Skz , ateez and the such? I’m not too sure but I am confused that if it’s like that why gol Cha and Pentagon are here and even verivery cuz from my very limited knowledge their pretty well known. Or it might be more experienced groups? Not too sure because pentagon is also more experienced (confuzzled) .
i'm worried too. there's drastically different kinds of popularity too and that can have a big effect on how the groups will do if mnet changes even more rules. we have the generally big groups in korea and internationally (bts exo), the groups that do really well mostly in korea (astro got7) and the groups that only do good internationally with no korean fans (ateez ikon). there's such different kinds of popularity and there aren't many large groups of same sized fanbases for this kind of survival show criteria. mnet screwed over TOO with this, and i really hope they don't do the same for kingdom and put like POPULAR big3 groups with monsta x or ikon, that'd be a sucky move (but it's mnet so i'd believe it)
I doubt there will be really big names like BTS, EXO, Seventeen etc. They don't need to attend such shows since their popularity is already on a different scale and they all have their own activities to focus on so I doubt they would have time for this(though I wouldn't mind a surprise lmao You never know this is Mnet lol). I think they could be newer popular groups like ATEEZ, TXT, Stray Kids etc. who even though are popular getting this exposure wouldn't be bad. I am really sad about the elimination system on Road to the Kingdom though... I hope this rule won't apply to Kingdom as well.
