It's a good branch.....you can appear in tech as well as non tech placements....and avg package is around 10-12 lpa.....for more precise information you can go to Thapar.edu

@@popsingh8869 yeah it is good but you're gonna miss campus life, fest and societies for two years. If you're not interested in college life and all these then you can surely join it. Anyway you'll transferred to main campus after 4th sem so no problem of placements.
You'll have 2 chances to upgrade your branch first one is December test held by thapar and 2nd one is based on your cg after end of 1st year .....during my 1st year we didn't have any mandatory attendance since some students were online but this time 75% is mandatory

Well, Coe is great in thapar but competition is also tough .....as far as placements are concerned the coe avg goes around 10-12 lakhs
