    If you are experiencing a damaged skin barrier - then take out your actives in your skincare routine and keep it simple. Sulfate free Cleanser, Hydrating moisturiser and spf (AM only) for 6-8 weeks. Then slowly introduce your actives again 1 by 1.

      I'm on the same path as you brother i am traumatized with cleansers 😂 but if you have a damage skin barrier u can use Moisture X hydra gel u can found it in online store and Obviously an spf believe me I was avoiding spf nd nd that's the reason I couldn't see any changes in my damage skin barrier nd for cleanser u can try an oat cleanser or Emodel cleanser

      Use an oil base cleanser then a gentle foam cleanser. Then an exfoliator (use 1-2 a week). If you feel like ur skin easily reacts to products (Exfoliate 1 time a week).
      Follow with a light toner (Numbuzin Toner no. 1 / no. 3 is a good one) then with a serum like Numbuzin No.3 radiance glowing jumbo essence pad for a brightening effect for those dark spots.
      Followed by moisturizer (Hada labo moisturiser/lotion, clinique moisture surge autoreplenishing hydrator)
      Finally ALWAYS Sunscreen at the end (during daytime ofc)

    if you have a damaged skin barrier do you also have to stop double cleansing??

    • @SkinZoneTV
      @SkinZoneTV  2 месяца назад +1

      See how your skin is, depending on how impaired the skin is you may want to only do the 1 cleanse. If you use a cream or milk cleanser with no fragrance it should be ok as it’s adding some oil to your skin.

    Does salitic acid count as harsh ingredients?

    • @SkinZoneTV
      @SkinZoneTV  Месяц назад

      No salicylic acid is a great ingredient for exfoliation, however if you have an impaired skin barrier you don't want to be exfoliating until you've repaired your skin :) you also don't want to be using salicylic acid daily as over exfoliation can be the cause of an impaired skin barrier

    Can i use shea butter?

    • @SammyBear5
      @SammyBear5 7 месяцев назад

      Don't use shea butter if your skin is red and irrated it will make it burn worse. Something without fragrance in it like petromen jelly very basic

      Shea butter is preety natural with no actives. I would reckon yes.
