One tip I've never seen addressed is the storage in shops. If you go to a shop and see a little dresser, you can examine it to access your fridge/shelves and everything inside! Very handy if your inventory is full on a particular tab and you need to buy something.
I dont know if you mentioned this before, but each town has a certain season so that you can plant all year round i.e. the 1st village is a spring village, so tomatoes can be grown there even if you're currently in winter season.
My personal method to get fodder was to set up one of the farms near a warp point (I the did breezy field) with sprinklers and fodder corn super early on and just come back every three days. I'm rich on feed 😅 Also another good thing to look out for when fishing is that the fish creates a "splash" when you pull away from them. Sometimes you think it's right but it isn't and their won't be a splash. Another thing is when expecting larger/higher quality fish use bait and cast close to the shore. It makes for less reeling time and the bait should lure them over to you.
I am also too lazy to fish all the time however I do have one spot that I am fond of. From the Herbstburg farm area go SE to that small beach area. Two spots there and easily pull 10k daily off the snakeheads there. So if you were using that farm base it makes a really easy daily chore I guess
The flower festival is easy once you get one of each flower seeds. I managed to get it by Day 18 of Spring Year 1. Also a good tip is collecting a ton of stone, iron, and bronze during the tutorial days since time doesn't move. Also chopped down every tree with the time pause too.
Thanks for these tips and tricks! Still haven't started playing this yet...but the crochet project that is taking a lot of my time is nearly complete, so I may start playing it soon! Along with more of the Ooblets Halloween event and Fae Farm...that game is SO relaxing for me and I've been able to get lost in it (not in the "where's my map, I need to turn the tracking on because I'm lost" kind of way...the "I'm able to just block everything out and totally focus on the game and nothing else" kind of way (well, I say "nothing else"...but I mean "anything that's not Pokemon anime playing on my tablet right next to my Switch :P"))...based on how I felt when I was playing OW, I have a feeling WoA will give me that same vibe! I just bought the game a few days ago, I'm on the last day of Spring, year 1. I'm still honestly confused by how this game works. Is the main quest tied to individual quests? How do I know what the main quest is? Can I ignore individual quests until I beat the game, then go back and do them? Or is that the main quest? Helping out all the villagers in the town? I was sorta hoping to just help the village leaders, and then do the rest of the villagers quest later on. Though, I want to start building a good connection with Neil, because I plan to marry him later on, so I do try and get his quests done. I'm also stuck on the flower festival part right now, I have no idea where to find all the flowers that are needed for it.
You don’t have to do every individual quest to continue the story. It can be a bit difficult sometimes to know what the main quest is, but usually it’s the sprites or the marriage candidates asking you to do something for the village. That’s the one that you want to do.
Hey this is not related to the video, but when you get a spouse in the game, do they help with the animals or farming? I married Judy recently and so far she just walks around inside the house and doesn't help...hopefully that changes lol
Unfortunately, they do not help out on the farm.
