Munna bhaiya had great problem solving skills-"matlab abhi bilkul immidiate nhi socha hai, sochenge"
The guy has a certain genuineness on his face. The last thing he said about an inside company person not able to have a completely different perspective stuck a cord. Thank you. 👍👍👍
Most important skill: The ability to let go of a life. Because you’ll never have one once you join consultancy.
Damn
Big4 guy here. 100% agree. 💀
@@mistmode9463 100 hours every week for IB might be same for consulting
But the work is so interesting it is a life better than partying etcc that gets boring over time
@@ShubhamGuptatheincidence You must be not in consulting same work full time 100 hrs for years, your health deteriorates you age etc...Its always flowers and roses on the other side .
"I did a course in Philosophy and that is one of the most meaningful courses I've done over time" My guess is because it teaches you how to ask the right questions.
Rightly Said
What the name of the course and where did you do it?
6:55 "How do you manage home?"
Finally asked to a man! Wow
Yes, its as important for a modern man as a modern woman to be adept at handling the home as well as work.
Great to see a DTU/DCE Alum and also the fun part in engineering is so real especially in DCE.

There is a saying in consulting 'if you cannot become something become a consultant' 😃
You’ve to be a Tier 1 College Grad to become one!
Absolutely. They conveniently don't tell you this. LOL
Not compulsary bro
This is damn true
Great insights. Insideiim doing a wonderful job. Keep it up

I request insideiim to here my story " I am a great fan of insideiim as it lets me to know what really top mba college grads do. I am also an MBA aspirant from top bschool. I gave cat 2 times i got only 85 percentile now i have calls from tier-2 colleges like kj somiya, Tapmi,Great lakes etc. Now i am literally scared to open insideiim as it pinches me it's not for you.My request is to bring someone from these tier 2 colleges who studied well in thier mba and went on to succed in their carrer. I think there are many people like me.If you can share some success stories from tier 2 b-schools it will be a motivation for lots of people like me to move forward."
Hi Sai,
The intention is never to pinch anyone - each and every MBA aspirant or exam taker are welcome on our platform, irrespective of the percentile he or she has scored. And you're right - there are thousands of people like you, who have made it big even though they haven't studied in the top B-Schools. Here are a few videos of such people who have spoken on our platform:

If you got 85..you have scope to get 95+ ...so go for it.
I too gave my cat for second time this year and got 89 percentile. I have applied for a few tier 2 b schools and have gd/pi dates in about a month. I also have a 2 year gap, which makes my situation even more despondent. But I still hope that I could make best of whichever college I get.
@@AbhishekKumar-fq7ch Hey Abhishek, Best wishes for your interviews!
Agree
What kind of problem solving? We as engineer consider problem solving is logical thinking as if I can slove a hard mathematics qus or a programming qus then I will consider myself as a good problem solver
Plethora of issues that are interconnected to business, management and costs. It's like a very complicated puzzle and if you come up with one or two answers, because of some or other barriers, you'll have to find more solutions and present all together.

How to get consulting withoyt a heavy profile , because you know that everyone is not coming from top ug college or background. So if they aspire to join mbb what should they do at their mba college?
Eat 5 star, do nothing
Do we need to choose finance as our main elective or we can choose marketing to be a consultant in MBB
He chose economics first go to a Bschool then decide
good info. Thanks
Glad it was helpful!

Do people from commerce background, who dont have srcc kind off brands in their resume can get into MBB?
It is hard and would require a lot of efforts, networking & guidance but one can definitely get into MBB

Sir I am now I. 12th and I want to do MBA From top colleges so doing Engineering or doing BBA which is best option for me??????
Please reply...
Bba
If your goal is to pursue an MBA from top colleges, both engineering and BBA are viable options. However, the choice between the two depends on your personal interests
I thought iim c guy would be more impressive, more power in speech, he seemed a bit slow and light for being a partner and a iim c graduate
He’s good at making presentations and Excel
He will when he has to. He does not have to impress anyone now. He has got a job and has his life set, so why should he aim at speaking impressively? The impact of communication is what makes it impressive. Irrespective of how good you speak, if the audience (you) does not understand. It is utter waste
@@mohitforimprovement definately
What did you expect? He will shout 'Mitrooon' and bump his chest? 😂
Because of some reason I Did my grad from Sol du now preparing for cat does graduation from distance mode really create any effects in Gd pi or campus placements
You will always be asked this question why you did your grad from distance learning Everytime everywhere ... whether in admission interviews or placements but I believe if you have a valid justification and credentials to show for it won't make any problem in the long run...all the best

do companies employ only engineers in consulting firms ?
