- French Crop for men - also known at the Edgar - is a shorter fringe hairstyle.

Similar to the Caesar haircut, the French Crop/Edgar has taper faded sides and neck, with skin faded details around neck and sideburns.
It is a hairstyle that is easy to style and it is styled by brushing the hair forward with help of a hair dryer, and a BY VILAIN Sidekick pre-styling spray.
You finish adding BY VILAIN Silver Fox and drag hair over the forehead or pushed slightly to the side if longer fringe.

This is not an Edgar cut, this is a superior cut and style for sure. To call or assume a Edgar cut and french crop is the same. It should be a crime.

Is emil having a straight hair or what type of hair? And if its straight hair.. how does he put texture on his hair?
Thanks for asking! Emil has straight hair! He achieves texture by using our pre-styler and then using the Hair dryer with the diffuser to achieve more of a messy look. Then a very important step is using the hair wax, in this video, it is By Vilain Silver Fox! It really gives more volume and texture to the hair, and provides it with a great hold that will last during the day 😎
It looks like the other fringe haircut except i think the crown is longer and the bangs shorter. The other haircut is the other way around. Longer bangs and shorter crown

How do you ask for the fringe to look like that? It never turns out that way when ask for a french crop and ive been to a few different barbers
Thank you for asking! We would suggest showing a picture, or in this case this exact video to the hairdresser and communicate very clearly that you would like a fringe like this. We found that clear and honest communication is the best tool to achieve the desired look, as then both parties have the same understanding. You can provide the hairdresser with these measurements too -
