What's better about this is how Dr. Strange needed an outcome so unexpected that it'll give the dubs to the Avengers vs. Thanos. If Dr. Strange told tony that it was his duty to fulfill the sacrifice, he knew Tony would reject the proposal since Thanos knew it would be an inevitable loss for them. My theory is.. among the million possibilities that Strange saw was the BIRTH of the Celestial being (Eternals). Remember that on eternal it is stated that the birth was delayed since billions of people were gone. Strange knew they would not stand a chance to go against the celestial after they suffered many casualties fighting Thanos. Hence, giving away the stone was his best choice for them to die temporarily than eternally. Again it's just a theory.
My theory simply put it that he saw all the scenarios realised the only way they would win is they lose but they go back in time and in order for hulk to get the stone Strange had to give the stone to Thanos so when Hulk tells your one about that she immediately knows to trust hulk

Basically, Strange giving the time stone to save Tony was losing the battle in Infinity War and playing the long game scenario to win the war in Endgame.
I feel like Dr. Strange saw every outcome of the multiverse but didn’t know he was seeing the future of the Secret Wars.
Tony's death and sacrifice was not expected by Thanos which was the ONE possiblity that made victory certain. Thanos actually respected Tony Stark and actually wouldn't have expected him to sacrifice himself to win. Thanos was a God at this point since he had to power to rewrite reality but since Dr. Strange played it out, Thanos had lost before he could figure out who was gonna end him
Thanos is no god. He’s only a Titan. Period.
The Thanos they fought at the end didn't respected Tony Stark because it was the 2014 thanos not the 2018 thanos
@@michaelaldredge-greenwell1692 With all of the infinity stones and therefore a god

He gave it away to save Tony. Strange knew Tony would defeat Thanos.
But Thor could had killed Thanos than Tony by just aiming for the head. So I call bs.
@@vanthursdayI think Strange saw that a celestial will born and sacrifice Tony was the only way.
@@vanthursdayxcept there was no time to tell thor to aim for the head, so no it's not bs. At this point in time nobody except the guardians knew where thor was or what he was doing in order for strange to tell him not to miss
And if they just went straight to wakanda instead of delaying thanos on titan, they wouldn't have bought enough time for thor to arrive. Cus thanos would've just gone straight to wakanda for both time and mind stones and outcome would be completely different
Tilda Swinton is such a phenomenal actor
I also feel like Strange giving it up willingly was the only way that would have convinced the Ancient One to do the same for Bruce.
Good job you know how to understand plot progression
Strange knew they had to lose in order to win
I wish we could see more of the ancient one.. i really love tilda ❤
Loved her since the beach with Leo great movie
Sorry
She believes in strange so she knew that it was a calculated move for strange.
I think the reason she thought she had made a mistake is because she has been protecting it all this time but the man who is the best of them all gave it away therefore she knows she must have made a mistake by protecting it for so long if strange gave it to thanos
The quality of this movie looks soo sharp and detailed
i'll never get used to the type of clarity on a video; it looks like i'm watching a soap opera
There goes Mark, giving away plot points again
Why is the first shot in a higher fidelity and fps than my phone should even be capable of? It looks like one of those TV's you see in the store
I think she said that because she made the mistake of wasting time with Bruce because she couldn't see pass her death. Strange gave it away because he saw pass the Blip
Exactly!
Strange said they win 1 out of 14,000,000 outcomes. He knew that he had to give away the time stone to save Tony, because he knew Tony had to die later
Tony is a treat in the multiverse. . That's why dr. Strange choose the possibly win situation. .

All they needed to do was rewind a tad and keep Star Lord from waking up Thanos.
Thanos well always seek the time stones...he is in love with Death.. If Star Lord didnt woke him someone else would
Thanos would have woken up quickly anyway since mantis said she was losing control fast and they had no way of using the stones or keeping them safe at that point leading to Thanos waking up right away and taking the stones again possibly killing them in the process so what happened was the best route to prevent any of their deaths at that moment
@@MotoPhoto7The glove was almost off, Starlord fucked up by not controling himself.
The moment the glove was off, Strange could have teleported all of them away and then sent Thanos to thd mirror dimension.
Strange could also teleport to Wakanda and tell Thor to aim for the head.
What they should've done is star lord and nebula should've killed thanos when the others held him
So that means he wasn't just looking at potential futures from the moment in time he was in. He was looking at potential futures from different decisions made long ago
One of the best surprises of the movie was the return of the ancient one.
I love when people present their opinions as fact. Not irritating at all.
I didn’t listen properly and i heard ‘the cutie of the saucer timestone’😂
We live in an alternate version where Strange is a side character in his own movie (the second one)
🙏 Now we know why some Masters only teach esoteric teachings to a very selected few to avoid their powers to be exploited or abused! 🕯🌍🕊
She says that because she's rethinking her choice of Steven Strange. She isn't blaming herself for deaths that she doesn't know about.
why is this quality better then the bluray i own
Bluray is still a thing?
Good point but I always thought most of the failed futures Strange saw were the ones where Tony died because Strange gave Thanos the stone to spare Tony’s life and Tony was the one who snapped Thanos away
Do you think we’ll see the ancient one again? I love to see her in a flashback sequence in Doctor Strange 3. Or maybe in Secret Wars to give Doctor Strange Guidance
Hulk in this movie looks like a jacked weight lifter
It looks like the Ancient One is holding Hulk's radioactive glowing nipple
There is another theory that the reason he needed this one outcome was not only to defeat Thanos, but also to delay the emergence and inspire the Eternals to intervene. Had they defeated Thanos early, the world would have just ended a few months later in the emergence.
Eternals isn't canon
@@orangecitrus8056 says who? It's an MCU movie
This scene with Hulk and the Ancient One had to be one of my faves on the whole movie, just phenomenal how everything's explained and how it all comes together
When she said that I first thought “oh damn she’s pissed, she’s not gonna let him in when he comes” but then she said he’s supposed to be the best I was like “oh thank God”
If he's did the portal to Wakanda, the story line of the avangers absolutely will be DIFFERENT.
Wait! I don't remember the movie as this smooth. This clip looked like 100fps or so. So smooth
For real
My theory is.. among the million possibilities that Strange saw was the BIRTH of the Celestial being (Eternals). Remember that on eternal it is stated that the birth was delayed since billions of people were gone. Strange knew they would not stand a chance to go against the celestial after they suffered many casualties fighting Thanos. Hence, giving away the stone was his best choice for them to die temporarily than eternally. Again it's just a theory.
Good point.
Might be true but its a stretch
A film theory and cut lol
A good theory though.
My theory simply put it that he saw all the scenarios realised the only way they would win is they lose but they go back in time and in order for hulk to get the stone Strange had to give the stone to Thanos so when Hulk tells your one about that she immediately knows to trust hulk
Listen... Props for trying to make sense of Tilda Swinson...

The one possible outcome was just kang making sure the avengers followed the correct bread crumbs and stayed on the sacred timeline
I read comics alot even now! Each episode iron man dr strange avengers such a beautiful movies thanks to the director n producers
Strange saw the future, this was the past. Strange didn't see future.
Ancient One: "He's supposed to be the best of us."
Multiverse of Madness: "SIKE!"
Not the same Strange.
Lowkey the ancient one claps Thanos cheeks 👏
When she said "or I did', I felt like she made a mistake by making strange the sorcerer supreme.

It's because they used some program that increased the frame rate... has nothing to do with definition quality. In this case the program used AI to fill in the gaps, you can see some artifacting in a few fast-motion shots where it didn't do that good of a job.
A lot of new high definition TVs and displays have the AI technology that does it automatically as well
@@josuec_01 yup. I always wondered why they never looked like the movies.

Stone has never fallen into the wrong hands since wong has been the ss, just saying
Omg what a theory good observation
Dr strange probably thought of teleporting to wakanda but knew that something was gonna go wrong and didn’t
I don't know for sure but as a man who shaves his head I'm gonna say, "Tilda shaved hers for this movie". Love this woman!
Dr. Strange could've just cut Thanos' arm with the portal spell, just like Wong did with that big monster from the black order. lol
Why didn't Loki teleport Thor and Hulk to earth?
It’s almost too high quality for a movie. Almost looks like a home video recording 😂
Anything, anything, as long as I don't have to hear Natale Portman say Issn-Rosin bridge anymore.
Come on... People of time keepers know everything about it... Not the Strange... He only knew the possibilities given by time stone... And he knew that it was the only way... And Kang kept all the events of his work hidden from time keepers because they use to record all the events on reels... that's the reason The One who remains stays at the end of the time so that no one knows what will happen there...
Strange only saw one outcome because of the TVA.
Kang was in control of everything
Good job, you understood the basic plot.

"You're not The Sorcerer Supreme; it's in my initials."
I think he also gave it to Thanos so he wouldn’t kill Tony Stark, because Tony Stark was the one who had to snap existence back in place, so if he died by Thanos the moment when it happen. 😮
