What's better about this is how Dr. Strange needed an outcome so unexpected that it'll give the dubs to the Avengers vs. Thanos. If Dr. Strange told tony that it was his duty to fulfill the sacrifice, he knew Tony would reject the proposal since Thanos knew it would be an inevitable loss for them. Tony's death and sacrifice was not expected by Thanos which was the ONE possiblity that made victory certain. Regarding how Steve Rogers/Captain America returned the six Infinity Stones at the conclusion of the _Endgame_ film, there’s an online FanFiction story entitled “The Infinity Stones Return: Captain America’s Final Adventure.” This story is written in the form of a heavily detailed plot-summary for an eight-episode mini-series. ¶ The first episode takes place before Captain America (hereafter called “Cap” for short) begins his journey, and shows Professor Hulk rebuilding the time machine and Scott Lang/Antman volunteering for the initial test run. This involves a return-trip to Clint Barton’s pre-snap home to put back the baseball glove that was taken during the original test-run. Afterward, Doctor Strange explains why the stones have been placed in the briefcase and reveals that the Tesseract, Orb, and Sceptre have been shrunken down to fit in Cap’s pockets and will be re-enlarged after he arrives in the past to re-contain their respective stones at the proper time. ¶ In the second episode, Cap visits the Ancient One in 2012 prior to the arrival of his earlier self in New York. There, she uses the combined power of the six stones in the briefcase to cast future-dated spells that will make the 2012-2014 timelines reset themselves once the heisted stones have been returned to their proper places. Afterwards, she transports to the roof of the New York sanctum where she gives Hulk the original version of the Time Stone after first putting on a performance-act of initial resistance and surprise to ensure he understands the importance of returning the stones afterward. She then reclaims the returned-version from Cap’s briefcase. ¶ In the third episode, the Ancient One continues to assist Cap by helping him recapture Loki and returning him into SHIELD custody along with the stolen 2012-Tesseract (after future-Tony and Scott have fled the scene of course). Afterwards, the re-enlarged Sceptre re-containing the Mind Stone is given back to the Hydra goons, thus triggering the first timeline-reboot spell which erases everyone’s memory of the wayward events. However, the final scene then reveals that since Loki misused the Space Stone’s power in the wayward timeline, a branch-timeline was nevertheless still created, thus requiring the TVA to intervene. ¶ In the fourth episode, Cap shoots forward to 2013 where he re-teams with the Ancient One for the journey to Asgard. There, they work together to neutralize Heimdall before putting the Reality Stone/Aether back into Jane Foster’s body and returning the enchanted hammer to a comically confused Thor. Afterward, the timeline is then likewise reset to erase everyone’s memories. ¶ The fifth episode has Cap shooting forward again to 2014 where he and the Ancient One return the re-enlarged Orb containing the Power Stone back to the temple on Morag after first making a brief but necessary side-trip to delay Korath’s arrival and prevent his interference. The sixth episode then has Cap being sent to Vormir where, in order to return the Soul Stone, he must first contend with a temporarily freed Red Skull and a temporarily resurrected Natasha Romanoff. ¶ The start of the seventh episode then reveals that, with the two stones from 2014 returned, the timeline has also now been reset so that everyone’s memories have been erased and that exact duplicate/replacement versions of Thanos, Gamora, and Nebula have been created to take the place of their original counterparts who jumped forward to 2023. ¶ Before travelling back to 1970 and then further back to 1946 though, Cap first reveals to the Ancient One that Doctor Strange had previously placed a charmed spell over Cap’s aura so that no one in the past would be able to recognize who he really is unless he wants them to. Hence, Peggy would be able to see Cap in his true form when he returns to her whereas everyone else would see him as somebody different. This would then enable him to easily change his name and assume the identity of a former G.I. whose unit was rescued by Captain America during the war as per the reference in the _Winter Soldier_ film. This also then explains why the younger Cap didn't recognize his older self at Peggy's funeral during the _Civil War_ movie. ¶ In the last part of this seventh episode, Cap returns to 1970 and puts the re-enlarged Tesseract containing the Space Stone back in the vault, then proceeds up to Hank Pym’s lab to put back the four replenished vials of Pym Particles. Upon arriving in the lab however, he is unexpectedly intercepted by the TVA. The final episode then has Cap being recruited by the TVA to fight the Red Guardian in 1984 before being allowed to return to 1946 and live happily ever after. ¶ Hope you enjoy reading the story in full on the FanFiction website. Cheers!
I think she said that because she made the mistake of wasting time with Bruce because she couldn't see pass her death. Strange gave it away because he saw pass the Blip
There is another theory that the reason he needed this one outcome was not only to defeat Thanos, but also to delay the emergence and inspire the Eternals to intervene. Had they defeated Thanos early, the world would have just ended a few months later in the emergence.
@@djslw0114 wait really? ppl really hated her character? or are u just joking?🤣🤣 i meant theres no way ppl hate her character just bcuz of that reason, i mean i know how some people are dumb, but not THAT dumb
My theory is.. among the million possibilities that Strange saw was the BIRTH of the Celestial being (Eternals). Remember that on eternal it is stated that the birth was delayed since billions of people were gone. Strange knew they would not stand a chance to go against the celestial after they suffered many casualties fighting Thanos. Hence, giving away the stone was his best choice for them to die temporarily than eternally. Again it's just a theory.
My theory simply put it that he saw all the scenarios realised the only way they would win is they lose but they go back in time and in order for hulk to get the stone Strange had to give the stone to Thanos so when Hulk tells your one about that she immediately knows to trust hulk
Basically, Strange giving the time stone to save Tony was losing the battle in Infinity War and playing the long game scenario to win the war in Endgame.
Thanos would have woken up quickly anyway since mantis said she was losing control fast and they had no way of using the stones or keeping them safe at that point leading to Thanos waking up right away and taking the stones again possibly killing them in the process so what happened was the best route to prevent any of their deaths at that moment
@@MotoPhoto7The glove was almost off, Starlord fucked up by not controling himself. The moment the glove was off, Strange could have teleported all of them away and then sent Thanos to thd mirror dimension.

I think the movie speaks for itself. If you choose to get hung up on a million little details that the movie isn't long enough to go into explaining, that's on you. It's just like any of the comics. The writers assume that the readers have half a brain and can fill in the gaps with logic. Watching the beloved heroes we grew up with grow as a character as they go thru these epic stories and make the hard choices they do is WHY we follow along. They bring out the desire in us to be the best versions of ourselves. If you're stumbling over tiny details or letting them take away from the experience, you are completely missing the point.

@Omni Xeno You're right. They should've made the movie 6 hours long to explain each and every complex far reaching time line altering decision and the many thousands of potential outcomes resulting from each and every one, and cram them into the movie so that instead of a cohesive fun to watch movie, we would have to stop every 20 minutes for a science lesson to explain the complexities of multidimensional time travel and alternate branching timelines to an audience of people like you that can barely keep their attention span focused on a 2 hour movie let alone a advanced astrophysics lesson about the multiverse, Einstien-Rosen Bridges and how they pertain to the consequences of those decisions. We wouldn't want to be "lazy." Moron.
It's because they used some program that increased the frame rate... has nothing to do with definition quality. In this case the program used AI to fill in the gaps, you can see some artifacting in a few fast-motion shots where it didn't do that good of a job. A lot of new high definition TVs and displays have the AI technology that does it automatically as well

Thanos actually respected Tony Stark and actually wouldn't have expected him to sacrifice himself to win. One of the best surprises of the movie was the return of the ancient one.
And that’s because Hulk always learns from his mistakes.
The first episode takes place before Captain America (hereafter called “Cap” for short) begins his journey, and shows Professor Hulk rebuilding the time machine and Scott Lang/Antman volunteering for the initial test run. ¶
In the second episode, Cap visits the Ancient One in 2012 prior to the arrival of his earlier self in New York. ¶
In the third episode, the Ancient One continues to assist Cap by helping him recapture Loki and returning him into SHIELD custody along with the stolen 2012-Tesseract (after future-Tony and Scott have fled the scene of course). ¶
In the fourth episode, Cap shoots forward to 2013 where he re-teams with the Ancient One for the journey to Asgard. There, they work together to neutralize Heimdall before putting the Reality Stone/Aether back into Jane Foster’s body and returning the enchanted hammer to a comically confused Thor. Afterward, the timeline is then likewise reset to erase everyone’s memories. ¶
The fifth episode has Cap shooting forward again to 2014 where he and the Ancient One return the re-enlarged Orb containing the Power Stone back to the temple on Morag after first making a brief but necessary side-trip to delay Korath’s arrival and prevent his interference. The sixth episode then has Cap being sent to Vormir where, in order to return the Soul Stone, he must first contend with a temporarily freed Red Skull and a temporarily resurrected Natasha Romanoff. ¶
The start of the seventh episode then reveals that, with the two stones from 2014 returned, the timeline has also now been reset so that everyone’s memories have been erased and that exact duplicate/replacement versions of Thanos, Gamora, and Nebula have been created to take the place of their original counterparts who jumped forward to 2023. ¶
Before travelling back to 1970 and then further back to 1946 though, Cap first reveals to the Ancient One that Doctor Strange had previously placed a charmed spell over Cap’s aura so that no one in the past would be able to recognize who he really is unless he wants them to. ¶
In the last part of this seventh episode, Cap returns to 1970 and puts the re-enlarged Tesseract containing the Space Stone back in the vault, then proceeds up to Hank Pym’s lab to put back the four replenished vials of Pym Particles. Upon arriving in the lab however, he is unexpectedly intercepted by the TVA. The final episode then has Cap being recruited by the TVA to fight the Red Guardian in 1984 before being allowed to return to 1946 and live happily ever after. ¶
Hope you enjoy reading the story in full on the FanFiction website. Cheers!
I think she said that because she made the mistake of wasting time with Bruce because she couldn't see pass her death. Strange gave it away because he saw pass the Blip

All they needed to do was rewind a tad and keep Star Lord from waking up Thanos.
Thanos well always seek the time stones...he is in love with Death.. If Star Lord didnt woke him someone else would
Thanos would have woken up quickly anyway since mantis said she was losing control fast and they had no way of using the stones or keeping them safe at that point leading to Thanos waking up right away and taking the stones again possibly killing them in the process so what happened was the best route to prevent any of their deaths at that moment

I think the movie speaks for itself. If you choose to get hung up on a million little details that the movie isn't long enough to go into explaining, that's on you. It's just like any of the comics. The writers assume that the readers have half a brain and can fill in the gaps with logic. The reason Dr. Strange gave Thanos the Time Stone is because Thanos was about to kill Stark/IronMan. Strange KNEW IronMan is the key element in the only scenario where Thanos is defeated. With IronMan dead Thanos would triumph, as in all the alternative futures that Strange viewed.
