I love the BE MERRY card; I had a thought to do a card with red & white stripes like a candy cane! So many scraps to choose from, the possibilities are endless. Thanks for the inspiration!
FANTASTIC video!! Inspiring for sure! My fave, I have to say is the same one that is yours. Those mica flakes add a subtle, yet BEAUTIFUL touch. FABULOUS job! Thanks so much for sharing with us these great ideas, tips, and esp the cards.
These are absolutely beautiful! I agree that the mica flakes adds so much but so does the embossing.I think I’ll clean up my scrap drawer and make a few dozen to donate to senior centres in my area. 🤗🇨🇦🤗
Nina-Marie, my favorite card was the same as yours. I love how you die cut three different colors and pieced them together. I also love how you embossed your background strips using leftover cardstock. I think that these cards were a great way to use up leftovers. Thanks for sharing with us.
Your cards are so bright, fun and festive! I'm going to try this paper stripping. I love all of your cards but the cards with leaves are calling to be recreated! Love your last video with the embossing folders as well. Thanks for all your inspiration!
Nina, I just love watching you make holiday cards. I get so many great ideas. I have already finished my Christmas cards for this year (the first time) and will definitely try some of these ideas with other materials I have. The colors with the gold card stock in between look incredible. Thank you so much. I cannot pick a favorite. I love them all. I would try to make the wishing you joy. I would just use the word joy or a new sentiment stamp I got from Simon two weeks ago.
Your blog is literally breathtaking, your tutorials consistently excellent, and your cards & vignettes absolutely delightful. You're an inspiring creator, providing great joy. I'd love to read more about your creative journey.
I love them all. I came to your blog looking for the slimline with the candy cane background, but didn't find it yet. I was surprised to see you run your embossing folder through the machine with the open edge first. I have always been told to run it through fold first. Do you have trouble with folders breaking?
My fav is the silver leaf, Be Merry card. So beautiful!
GORGEOUS embossing idea! ❤ Love the effect on the strips. 😃
I agree with your choice! Love the beautiful colors and the concept of using scraps!
I am a scrap hoarder. Thanks for so many ways to use those scraps to make beautiful backgrounds!
LOL! You and me both! I can't bear to throw scraps away! ;)
What a cool method. And I love the different ways you came up with to dress up the cards!
Cute cards!! Love the embossed stripes! Thank you for sharing 😊
Beautiful cards, love the berry stem die!
I would not have thought to emboss the paper strips. Cool idea that I’m going to be trying. Thanks

You are too kind to say so, Holly! THANK YOU!!! That means a lot to me!
I subscribed cause your so detailed & you have different ideas -thanks..
Oh thank you!!!!
I've tried something similar with washi tape stripes, but I haven't tried embossing on top. Good idea!
Wow...how to pick one! I think your fav is mine too though. Good cheer would be my second choice.
That good cheer card is fun with the super-large sentiment!
Loving all these cards! I love how you kicked up the berry stem die cut- those touches are awesome!
Love your ideas, always!
What did you brush onto the cardstock, with the blending brush, prior to stamping with Versamark? A loose powder?
Beautiful cards! Did you cover up the ribbon ends inside the card with cardstock?
No, I did not! :)
I love them all. I came to your blog looking for the slimline with the candy cane background, but didn't find it yet. I was surprised to see you run your embossing folder through the machine with the open edge first. I have always been told to run it through fold first. Do you have trouble with folders breaking?
I have never had that happen to any of my folders!
I didn't hear how you attached the strips before embossing. Glue or double-sided tape?
I used Simon's Dot Runner! :)
@@NinaMarieTrapani Thanks!
