I love this song. I just picked up a copy of your CD at the $5 sale and when I first heard the lyric "dear younger me" it caught my attention and I knew it would be good. There are so many things I would say, or try to say to my younger self. Who knows if I would have listened. Today, I know I have changed and I'm living in my new identity. I'm so thankful. I see others, the "younger me's," and I wonder if I should say something more to them knowing what I know now. Hmmm...
On another note, I saw you guys in concert at the Rock n Worship in Kent, WA. You jokingly referred to yourselves as the "old band" since you guys have been making music for so long. :-) I remember you also saying that 'Welcome to the New' was the reason why you were dressed the way you were- that was funny. I appreciate you guys sharing your talents with the world, drawing others to closer to Jesus. Also, I gushed to my 8 yr old son how I wished I could play like you guys (after watching this video)and he said "well- you never practice!!" Ahhhh!
