Great design , great video. My daughters would need a whole wall of that lol. Love how its made to look like the runners go through the ends. Have a great weekend ...
What a great idea Daniel! Absolutely love it 🫡 Been working on a design for one of those entry benches/ coat racks with shelf on top. This would work great under the seat 👌
Very nice project as always Daniel! I hit my pine projects with some 'tea water' English tea is best of course ;o) A couple of tea bags left in a jar of water for a few hours or over night makes a really nice subtle colour change like old pine when brushed on and then waxed or varnished when dry. If you want some real Viking magic to happen then before you apply a finish over the tea wash, brush it with some white vinegar that's had some wire wool or old nails left in it for a several hours, once the tannin from the tea has soaked into the wood (pine of course doesn't have a lot of natural tannins) the iron in the vinegar solution reacts with those added tannins and works it's magic! Well worth a try especially if you want some natural ways to colour your pine projects a much darker brown colour! Give it a go and see what you think, it really is like magic, at first you don't think anything is happening and then bang it happens :o) (The vinegar smell goes quickly or when waxed or varnished etc) Experimenting a bit with the brew times gives different results but it's a nice natural way to colour wood, something to try anyway, I love using this method you never quite know what colour you'll get!
Nice job brother Daniel looks amazing maybe don't quite have as many nice boots but have few pairs nice ones and about 3 work boots plus trainers may need couple these. 👍🏴🫣
I was about to complain about all the sawdust all over your shop but then realized it was inside of my tablet cover and screen. My bad. Nice video. But can I assume you have a covered front porch?
Hey Daniel... just a quick note to you. I live in England and am a fan of your work. Trulely enjoy it. Anyway, in case you have not look at Paul Sellers videos lately, Paul was attack on his bicyle going home about a month ago. He has since put out a video of his recovery. Have a look mate. Just thought you might want to know if not heard. Take Care, Barn Door.
Great project. Love the boot rack. Did you only use that thickness because you had that on hand? Would thinner stock work as well? Thanks for sharing and have an outstanding weekend!
My house may need a few of those. If you were to use a dowel instead of the square stock would you run it all the way through or still use the caps on the outside to cover the screws?
@@Bearded-Viking-WoodWorks I don't see why. The board that you put them in on the horizontal plane is wide enough to place them in the vertical plane running from bottom to top orientation..
Cool idea and definitely will be making one for my dad… Question, what saw blade are you using exactly in your Dewalt 12” miter saw???…I have been looking for one that is a rip blade and have been unable to find one less that $140 😳
Love the shop hacks you show during the builds. Quality video production as well.
Hey thanks brother I appreciate ya

I kinda miss the engine sound you did for the miter saw. Great video.
Me too
Please remember to hit that like button !

Yes 🙌 covered lol 😂 . My screen protector is caked in sawdust too brother
Another awesome project. Keep up the good work. Curious if you have a whisky cabinet coming down the line

I did hear , I think that is absolutely disgusting that someone would attack mr Sellers like that , been sending prayers his way
I have a shoe rack in mind I want to build.
Let’s see it !!! This is a fun fun build
Great project. Love the boot rack. Did you only use that thickness because you had that on hand? Would thinner stock work as well? Thanks for sharing and have an outstanding weekend!
Yes any size will work
How about putting a chamfer on the small blocks that are covering the screws
If ya want to sure
I think i messed up the Genius formula... i took 1% inspiration, 94% perspiration and added 5% flatulation... sigh... 😂 Great video, Daniel!
Lol

I would 100% run the dowels all the way through and then I wouldn’t need screws as I would run it all the way through . 👍🫡
Purely a curiosity question - why do you place your keyhole slots horizontal vs vertical?
It’d be pretty hard to get them vertical on this piece don’t ya think ?

It’s the 24 tooth flat tooth thin kerf from Diablo
@@Bearded-Viking-WoodWorks any chance you can share a link to one cuz i still haven’t been able to locate one 😁, thanks brother 😎🫡

@@Bearded-Viking-WoodWorks yeah that’s the 10” version, I’m looking for the 12”…Did find a 30 tooth one
@@ToddCArnold oh shit well that’s the one I use in all of my saws , tables saw and 12” miter saw has the 10” blade . Works just as good
Looks like it would scuff and ruin the tops of your shoes over time....
Yeah ok 👌 ain’t had a problem yet ,
