    Hi Elena! I’m so glad you were giving a shout out to this one! I recently planted 5 of these variegated Hoya Kerri together in a pot. 3 plants came from Zulily. And then there were 2 single hearts I’ve had for 2 years as singles. The answer for singles is to simply work them into your larger Kerrii pot. It will make the pot look fuller and they won’t be lonely ever again!

    I’m getting more and more into house plants. I like that the they give you some happiness and comfort when there is nothing growing outside. I do love to grow flowers and vegetables outside tho 😅

      That is great! 💚 Since I don’t know how to relax or meditate, I find plants to be my Zen. I can walk around for hours and just take care of them. I find it very relaxing and I love that they don’t talk back 😂. I grow some flowers outside, but no garden yet. I think once I retire I will definitely have a garden 😊

    I love all of your Kerriis!!! I only have the one and it’s putting out a stem with two leaves but they don’t look very heart shaped. It’s in my southeast window but our weather has been so cloudy, I’m not sure if it’s getting enough light… I’ll try to remember to send you a picture, or post a picture now that the leaves are bigger!
    Thank you for sharing!! 💜💚🪴🌵

      It could also be as I mentioned in the video that root system is still growing and not strong enough to push out well shaped leaves. It will once your plant matures. 😊

    Love this video! These are so darn cute! I actually, for the first time, was able to see kerii in front of….TODAY!!! I wasn’t going to go planty shopping after an appointment, but………something was calling me!!! I’m so excited. She has huge leaves and she’s the reverse variegated. I hung her in my east window-but maybe I should move her to my south window? Anyway-sooooo happy!! 💚💚💚

      Those are the best times when you find a plant you weren’t expecting to find! So happy you got one! 🥰 I think east window should be fine, they need sun but I don’t think they need to be fried. Keep in mind I have overhang on my front porch in front of that window, it gets direct sun in the morning and afternoon, it never gets blistering sun. I’m so glad you liked my video 🥰💚💚💚 I spent all day working on that thumbnail. Trying to learn graphic design now😊.

    Your favorite hoya Kerrii (the mini hearts that are hairy) might be "Hoya Manipurensis" some leaves can look like hearts. But the leaves look almost too big to be Manipurensis and the heart shape almost too perfect!

    • @ElenasGreenPlanet
      @ElenasGreenPlanet  2 года назад

      It is definitely Hoya Kerrii, and hopefully one day I will know what kind of cultivar it is. I am sure somebody out there will let me know 😊 I don’t have Hoya manipurensis, but I know what it’s looks like. It’s definitely not it. Thank you for trying to solve this mystery 💚

    Buenas noches.
    Linda tu colección de corazones.
    Quiero decirte que hace tres largos año tengo dos corazones. Regalo de mis nietos en un san Valentín y lo conservé por un año separado como vienen. Luego escuché que 99/00 eran un fracaso. Lo saque les lave muy bien las raíces y los plante juntos y que duraran lo que quisieran en un solo pote Así lo cuide. En diciembre pasado cuando estaba juntando todas mis plantas para reorganizar Oh sorpresa ahí está un brote chiquito gordito. Se le cayo o rompió la punta. No se cómo paso Es seguido cuidándolo y ya está más largo el tallo espero siga. Y pondré atención para mandarte una fotografía de el esperaré dos semanas a ver si brota la hoja ya tengo fotos Te la mandaré a fin del este me como este. La segunda hoja no a dado nada. Pero igual Felíz
    Perdón por el listín
    Saludos. Linda noche

    My variegated Hoya kerrii like the first one you shared is developing mushy circles on the leaves i placed it in direct sunlight could it have been burned?

    • @ElenasGreenPlanet
      @ElenasGreenPlanet  2 года назад

      Hello. I have never had problem like that and my Kerrii are in a sunny window also, but it sounds like it’s a fungal issue. Do you spritz your Hoyas to increase humidity? This Hoya does not need high humidity. As far as I know it’s not good for them and can invite all kind of fungal issues. Also check roots on that Hoya you might have root rot situation going on. If that’s the case I would definitely re-root and try to save it. Kerrii is very prone to root rot. I only water mine when leaves start getting soft. I hope it helps.

      Hi Alina, it sounds like flat mite damage. These are nasty little mites that just recently got discovered and they create a lot of damage for Hoyas. They are very tiny. You can only see them under microscope and the only thing that kills them is sulfur. I would suggest to look into it. I have a video coming out on it tomorrow at 11 AM.
