- My take on Volumes' "Across the Bed". This song blew me away after hearing it the first time and it has only gotten better every time I hear it. So I decided to try something a little different. Enjoy :)

For those of you asking for chords, I just figured it out by ear! haha. played power chords on the acoustic. but I guess they would be:
verse - D, B, F#, E
chorus - F#, augmented with a G every other measure
and that's about it!
Can you make a chord chart, I'm having trouble making out what you mean

Dan McVey I heard it a few months after you put it out. My ex was a huge Volumes fan and I was looking up acoustic versions of my favorite songs by them. This one and Erased are my all time faves. And dude you'd be the top of my playlist. I sincerely look forward to it.
Dan McVey also that comment right below this one. The one where you said you figured out the chords by sound. My dad and I don't know how to read a lick of sheet music or chords. We listen to the song and imitate the sound we hear. Shitty enough I'm right handed and my dad is left handed so I play guitar left handed... I'm screwed on prices lmfao.
really good cover, but i think you made the chorus sound a lot more darker than it should have been, the use of the synth at that part sounded a little bit cheesy and threw off the sound and feel of the actual chorus in the original, but otherwise i loved it.

Very well done, when I first saw the title I was like "Now how the fuck do you pull that off?" But you have, and well at that. Although the only negative (if you can even call it that) is this song requires a bit of a kick, love the song and love what you have done with it, just part of the magic of this song is how hard it hits you. Either way, I'm impressed.
