I’ve been playing him since launch and he’s a amazing back up character not good to start with imo because as you said low damage but his assist is just god like
Yea I noticed his assist too but I saw glob's tier vid saying it was bad and I was like, well he knows more than me

I completely agree but I start off with murata simply for the fact most people can't predict his movements and combo timing😂 my friends at school all hate me because with rengoku as an assist he is particularly easy to deal damage with, in my opinion at least
Jokes on you I've been maining him for two months now. You didn't talk about what makes him truly amazing and the best assist in the game. His assist recovers insanely fast. Im pretty sure that maybe 2x faster than other assists in the game and both his assists are incredible for combos and neutral

As a murata main I’m happy my boi is finally getting the love he deserved
Lui has been my favourite player to watch in the past few tournaments, bringing out a character that we don't get to see much of is always really exciting to watch. Can't wait to see him go further in future tournaments, I'm holding out hope we one day have a Murata at the top of Wanted
He’s unironically one of my favorite characters in demon slayer
I never doubted Murata from the start. He's not my main or any of my alts but he's such a fun character to play as, and I don't think he was ever really bad tbh.

I haven't been able to make as many guides I wanted to for my boy my thoughts:
-Murata's damage as average overall with the right routes
-Not bad resets
-He has really good scaling for easy high damage ultimate conversions.
-All his skills are safe on block, except airSlash which is PLUS on block.
-Mid-Combo Boost Routes to convert when you have 1 bar
-Under the right conditions he can solo TOD water tanjiro (see my "forbidden TOD" video for info on that)
Murata is much better than people think, he just takes a lot more work to play imo. I need to put out some new guides and they are coming I promise.

I also got to 5 stars with Giyu and Murata, he's is definitely underrated, I have 500 matches and I've never fought against a single one except for one as an assist a long time ago.

I WAS NOT WRONG I LOVED MURATA FROM THE START AND I THOUGHT HE WAS REALLY REALLY GOOD BECAUSE OF THE DASH INTO WATER WHEEL GIVING YOU AND INSTANT COMBO
I like him, he gains his assist bars fast and I am able to get away really fast and a lot of combo extenders

I do like murata as a character and play him on occasion but go with a more switch character style gameplay which is super hard to get down. but yeah his waterwheel is very good cause you can either continue with back throw slash or stop there for mix ups.

I never slept on murata I was the person who was saying since akaza got added that he was amazing no one believed me but I always said he is so slept on plus he does good damage if you play him right. Just need the right assist I think he is the a top tier with HINOKAMI assist. He does massive damage if you just use a support
Also most consistent character in game
Hinokami assist isn't that great, there are better ones. Like shonibu, nezuko, possibly even zenitsu

This is good. Showing that tbe last nerfs shifted the meta. Keeps the game healthy and fresh
But murata wasn't buffed. And there were akaza mains at the top of wanted before he was buffed. Theres just less zenitsus.

It’s hilarious to see some regular unassuming random side character demon slayer completely destroy Akaza, the third strongest demon of all time.

We need a video talking about Rollback and the lack of lobby system (needs 8 man rooms, league and tournament as well as connection filter for player/ranked match). I'm afraid the game will die without these changes, please do a video and community survey!

@@loganstewart5433 Some characters just feel like they could have more potential than they get credit for and for me that made me dive into maining him.
Genuine question, at high level play is meter management like less of a priority? cause i've seen so many high level matches where people just burn all their meter at in a single combo at like the beginning of a match
I think they do that to take the lead then the opponent has to do it wasting his bar as the other guy is recovering meter
@@calebsolonas6085 so does it kinda boil down to, "burn meter in combo, play keep away while meter recharges and force opponent to try and burn their meter"?
