Luke's voice is awful now, take it r not it's a fact, even on this video is horrible. Since 1990 his voice changed for wrong... You can notice listening to he albums after past to present.
@@Altozano1991 Luke's voice still good, but have a different sound as time goes by. But I'm always curious about his voice since "Kingdom of Desire" He's sound like Lemmy from Motorhead.
@@Thunderlion-yd4nv He lost a lot of range. When you push your diaphragm and cords for hours and over so many years, it's a guarantee that you'll lose range. He has ability, but no way to use it.
Oh man, how this song could be so overlooked. To me, it's the best song they ever did, even better than the legendary "Rosanna". Mike's bassline is so good and the drums man, Jeff with that delicious shuffle and tasteful fills. Just this short play is enough to feel the greatness of this song, the intro and that powerful chorus.
this has become my favorite Toto track after rediscovering it recently! wow, nothing better than this. it has it all. the J Porcaro shuffle, the Goodrum-Lukather magic, the heart-wrenching lyrics, and fantastic guitar and bass.. the dynamics. incredible, all of it
Daniel Faria, wasn’t The Seventh One a great album! I compare it to an extension of TOTO IV, as Revolver was an extension of Rubber Soul. What do you think?
As far as I know, this incredible song (that deserves to be played in full) has only been played live in a shortened medley version. Steve plays some absolutely gorgeous, haunting guitar on the studio track. What a guitar tone!
@Rick Dude.. this guy is a legend. Playing some of my favorites of all time within the first minute. Thank you! Also I have the same VST He's using! The Rhodes. That is so inspiring. I need to fire that back up!
Is it gonna get easier Than tryin' to break these chains around my heart Ohhh ohhh Does it ever get easier Without you I can't pull these chains apart Ohhh ohhh [Bridge:] Day by day Until they break Ohhh ohhh
Hey Rockjesu,I am with you on that.Probably my favorite tract on "The Seventh One"cd."Pamela" and "A Thousand Years" are great also.Where can I find full length live version of"These Chains"Thank you.Fan of these guys even before they were TOTO,and TOTO fan forever.
I wish they'd play this more often.

@@Altozano1991 I completely (but respectfully) disagree...He does not sound that different today, than he did in the late 80s.

Gregg couldn't believe he was playing at 0:07. I bet that's his favourite Toto song.
That dude at the beginning looking at the camera made me so happy for some reason. "DO YOU BELEIVE THIS SHIT IS ACTUALLY HAPPENING?
He enjoys the mood, sweet
@Rick Thank you! Gonna go listen to more of his playing.

Too bad they don't play this song often. The Seventh One is really a good album!
MAGNIFICAL
Salvatore love toto
After 1992, Toto wouldn't be Toto without Simon Philips, the one who could take the place of Jeff Porcaro.
Sublime. And just too short. xxxx
I love Toto
