    What do y’all think of these Muth jars and the way we bottle them up? It is a lot of work but definitely worth it in the end. They make very nice gifts and I just uploaded them to the website for folks to order if they would like. Check it out here: brucesbees.com/

    Bruce, I cant tell you how much I appreciate you doing this video. There are TONS of videos on working the bees, and some on extracting, but not many on the packaging part. I have been thinking a lot on this topic, and this video is right on time. Thank you again.

    Quick question. Do the corks come out easy with out destroying it due to the wax seal. Love your videos. Thank You

    • @brucesbees
      @brucesbees  Год назад +1

      I haven’t removed a lot of them but the wax seal does not seem to be an issue. The bigger issue is that I push them in pretty hard to make sure they down come loose so you have to grab them pretty hard to remove them. Or pry them up with a knife or other object to get them started. If careful can be removed without significant damage.

    These present so well, but I'm trying to figure out the best way for customers to remove the seal and uncork the bottles. That part isn't working out so great. Would love to know if you've come across any tricks.

    • @brucesbees
      @brucesbees  4 месяца назад +1

      Hmm I don’t know. Never had anyone really say it was an issue except for one older lady that had a hard time. Maybe a corkscrew would work?🤷🏻‍♂️ I personally have just worked the cork back and forth or used a knife or some sort of utensil to loosen the cork.

    • @lindseychinni5296
      @lindseychinni5296 4 месяца назад

      @@brucesbees Thanks for your feedback. Maybe I'd shoved the cork in too far, but I was making a mess trying to scrape the wax off an 8oz jar, and the corkscrew left bits in the honey. But after lots of web scouring and some more experimentation, I think I've found the trick! Wrapping twine around the base of the cork just before dipping...it breaks the seal cleanly and then I can just unscrew the cork.
      And possibly I was overthinking it if you haven't had any trouble, lol.

    • @brucesbees
      @brucesbees  4 месяца назад

      @lindseychinni5296 that is an interesting idea. Not sure I understand is the twine inside the bottle?

    • @lindseychinni5296
      @lindseychinni5296 4 месяца назад

      @@brucesbees Wish I could upload a pic. Not in the bottle...wrapped around the base of the cork, just atop the bottle. Sort of between the cork and the top of the bottle. Then I dip and the wax seal holds it in place. But a gentle pull unwraps the twine, pulling the wax off with it. It's lovely! And now I think I'll have to raise my price. 😅

    • @brucesbees
      @brucesbees  4 месяца назад
