The fact that you were concerned for your seatmate definitely shows that you are a caring, empathetic, and compassionate person. I applaud you for that.
I'd book a clapped out 767-300 over a new 321NEO every time. Delta's maintenance of their geriatric aircraft shows they must be doing something right to keep them in the air. The interior redo on the 767-300 may be showing its age, but the biz class product with single seat aisle and window access, a meal, and huge washrooms with updated lighting is a pretty good way to pass 5hrs. As for the economy cabin, at least you only have to climb over 1 person if you want the window seat and aisle access.
“The Missing Seat Mate!” Alfred Hitchcock would give you two thumbs up for that plot twist! You always add a special flair to ALL of your videos! Happy Thanksgiving!🦃
I would have at least notified a flight attendant about the seat mate. They may have had been sick with covid or needed medicial attention or had a drug problem.
Great trip report as always! I will say however, is that Delta's 763 provided one of my best flights to this date. I would have to point out that despite its age, the aircraft is perfect. Yeah, it doesn't have in seat power outlets but with one setback like that, it doesn't change my view on this majestic bird. I hope they DON'T go soon.
Delta for sure is trying its best to update their 767 aircrafts including their older 767-300s with better IFE, power outlets, and Delta One First Class seats
I have a lot of respect for you because some fight reviewers don’t relise that they are on a 30 year old plane, so they make up their mind for the whole airline, and its not the arlines best product.
Huge fan of your videos! Pit is my home airport, so I love seeing your tours and experiences from/to there especially. I was wondering if you'll ever consider doing a video for people who are afraid of flying? Or people like me who haven't flown yet at all and are afraid to start..haha. ♥️
Forrest Gump is a good movie choice! Flying down to Florida next month on jetBlue, I am PRAYING they have both HOME ALONe and HOME ALONe 2 available, as I am making a tradition of watching the first on the way down, and the 2nd on the return flight. 😂
So do you think your seatmate fell in or fell out? BTW, I don’t fly as much as you but when I do it is either first or business class. I also hope you are a member of the frequent flyer program for all these airlines. It really adds up.
You know? Even though it's old, I'd rather fly economy on the 767 over any 32* or 737 family due to the 2-3-2 configuration. That's more important to me than large overhead bins and power outlet.
Yup Delta's B767's is aging fast however they will be phased out in 2025 even there B717's too from what I findout online while searching the Internet also Delta Airlines New A321Neos and B737 Max 10's could replace there Aging fleet of B757's,B767's and B717's from 2025 and Beyond if Boeing Certified there Jets which I hope they will thejazzguyaviation13 nuff respect to all your Videos on Aviation and Travel keep going man 100% Dream Big on Aviation man Awesome Video!!!!
2021 was not a good year for any airline!!! We flew Delta in June on a trip to London from Atlanta on the same type plane. This plane was newer !!! Plenty of usb outlets and food service. I notice that there arent many airbus planes going overseas. Happy Thanksgiving. Hope that lady is ok. That has to be the most miserable thing to be sick on a long flight!!!
I love biscoff cookies … I seen Costco in Canada sells it now …. Air Canada does not give anything with your beverage and westjet stop it’s made good bars as of November 2022😂.
Don’t ever bring fish on your flight. When you get ahold of it, eat it immediately, and don’t wait for a specific date to eat it, like the date you fly on.
I'd have to admit my recent trip with delta I was dumbfounded by the poor service I experienced and lack of enthusiasm from the crews hell even the planes I flew on were not great at all which is sad. The 220 was dirty and the ife was broken and the crew were just unpleasant like they didn't want to be there. The first officers and captains were exceptionally great on both flights tho so that's a plus I guess....
Often an aircraft going out domestically from the international gates has come in from an international destination so rather than towing it to a domestic gate it will just depart from there.
Love your vlogs. However, have you not stated in the past that you favored Southwest for domestic flights ? That being said my favorite domestic carriers are Alaska Airlines, Southwest, then Delta. I would take a Delta flight over American or United if my options precluded me from flying Southwest or Alaska Airlines. Keep up the bodacious filming. Peace out.
on my DL flts for instance LIT-ATL just water and a snack same with RDU-ATL also flew on the 220 and the 321 for the first time dislike the 321 like the 220 even the monitor is different programming
I know Southwest gives you snack mix on flights and on transcontinental flights like these, its a snack box meaning no real meals especially in 2021 when you filmed this. If on a legacy carrier for transcon flights, et before you fly or try first or business class. Only International flights they give you a meal in economy
I gotta laugh . I'm watching Flight Radar 24 and Delta's whole fleet is ancient ! 757 to Europe ? Its sad that this is the " Best " America has . Even Spirit has new planes
Delta is on a downhill since the pandemic. I am million miler with Delta and I am about to stop flying Delta. United took the pandemic and ran with it and Delta took the pandemic, played politics instead of paying attention to its core business and products.

no way the a321 Neo is the best plane flying today
@@michaelespinosa9168 yep!
I remember flying on a 767-300 with Condor. They are super old but they’re my favorite aircraft type.
Wow. Hope that seatmate is OK. That is my worst fear. Getting ill (flu or panic attack - LOL) on a flight. Bless her heart and your for your concern.
I like your old intro theme song more better. That song just makes you want to travel
Definitely agree with your take on the 767...an old, outdated plane that just simply needs to be retired
Excellent travel vlog Chris! I really hope your seat mate is okay, food poisoning is never fun!😸
Watching the video right now! I know it’s gonna be a great video because u made it! Keep up the great work!
That's true. I have never seen an awful video from thejazzguy13. He knows what he is doing.

Delta plans to retire 767-300s not all at once but over time starting in 2025
Delta for sure is trying its best to update their 767 aircrafts including their older 767-300s with better IFE, power outlets, and Delta One First Class seats
Atlanta is a fun airport to be at especially for a layover
Thanks for another amazing flight video! Hope your seat mate is OK as well.

YAYYYY NEW UPLOADDDDD!!!!!🎉
Okay I admit it, when you flew over the San Mateo bridge I waved at it since that is the bridge I use to/from SFO......LOL
It’s sad that delta retired the far newer 777s before the 767s
Racing Butterfly FTW! is the name of the intro awesome song btw
i used this exact same gate you were at for a flight from Atlanta to London last year!

I flew on Delta's A339 this past June on the route BOS-TLV-BOS and they had to reboot the entertainment too :(

wait you made this video in 2021?!
I love you jazz guy can you fly Delta and American more and fly on breezes new a220 in nicest keep up the good work
Going on Delta in March for first time. Hopefully they don't change planes right now a350 dtw to HNL.

i was on a 767 from RDU-ATL a week ago the inflight entertainment didnt work the flt came in from paris
That tray table was the same on a 717 flight I went on, it was so small it could not fit my 14 inch laptop!
Did she jump off the plane?
Fun fact: Kurt Russell did the voice of Elvis in that movie!
Have you been watching the FIFA World Cup???
Seeing this, for some reason, made me REALLY miss Delta's Song Airlines. Only flew it once in 2004, but holy shit was it awesome at the time.
Crazy how ATL and Delta has International gates used as domestic flights several times, probably widebody flights
I've been on several narrow bodies using the "International" gates. Delta uses what they need and want in Atlanta as they rule.
Often an aircraft going out domestically from the international gates has come in from an international destination so rather than towing it to a domestic gate it will just depart from there.

Fly United Airlines from San Francisco to Omaha sometime!!!

I always find it rather unnerving to fly on an aircraft older than I am.
You should go back to London
Why don’t most airlines use the 767 for routes across oceans, it is a widebody after all
She probably didn’t want to be filmed and found an empty seat elsewhere. They wouldn’t land with someone in the bathroom.
I was the last one off the plane and her stuff was still in the seat next to me...plane was completely full too
Second
or third
God, does anyone actually like those damn cookies? 🤢
I do like them. You need to upgrade to Comfort Plus for a better selection of snacks
I gotta laugh . I'm watching Flight Radar 24 and Delta's whole fleet is ancient ! 757 to Europe ? Its sad that this is the " Best " America has . Even Spirit has new planes
Aircraft age doesn’t matter much as long as aircraft are well maintained. You should see the modern interiors on their 30 year old A320s.
Yea, very old plane and that no outlets is just not suitable for that long of a flight
i dont fly Delta. I am in CLT.
