Never knew there was a difference between the metric and imperial heads. Great show as always. I've been meaning to make a new rivet snap for a project and this was fun motivation!
Very nice video. Project Turned out very well. Glad to always see videos always learning from great makers of the craft. Keep up the great craftsmanship and hard work my friend. Can't wait to see what you forge next. Can't wait to see more videos. Forge On. Keep Making. God Bless.
Made my first set a few months ago, but still great to watch. Not sure if you've covered this but could you advise or make a short vid about tongs for starting out. Not making them, but what you would consider the first (for example) 5 tongs that any new smith should have that would cover most beginner projects. Regards, Kev.
Good clear video content. Good tip on the casehardening powder, Ordered!!! Question: Do you know how to colour case harden as in old firearms???? Be nice to learn that skill. Thanks for sharing your skills.
Hello master smith. I am a hobbyist smith and I like to do things old school way. I don't even own a torch. Could You give me any tips on how to warm up the rivets?

I was just thinking of making it, so it was very helpful. Thank you very much .
We call them rivet sets or headers. The term snap threw me off. Good video.

Old question Will on a riveted ship where does the last rivet go 😉
In the hole to stop it sinking
@@phoenixforge5944 easier than that in the last hole 🤪
As a shipwright I can honestly say I dont know, but suggest the most recent apprentice should take that day off!
