In one of my games the other team did that and I hit the kid and he got carted off, then the parents from the other team were yelling at me even though it was clean
Ahhh, loved playing Lax as a kid. Ive just been down memory lane, going over my own big hits in my head. Stopped playing at 16, but I loved playing D. If i still had the fitness i had then, and no aching joints, I would 100% take this sport up again.
100% how I feel about ice hockey lol. During our summer camps we would always play lacrosse to work on communication, teamwork, and other things and both sports are just so much fun.
Last hit: absolutely legal, there was nothing wrong with that, but I can understand the call since the helmet did come off. But that just means the chin strap is too loose
Same bs happening in every contact sport. If the hit is legal, but too big of a hit then the ref will call it. I hate that legal, textbook hits get called for merely being “too brutal looking”
@@genericsocks7542tbf i get it more with the PLL as the sport is growing and these guys don’t necessarily play full time and have/need other jobs right now to supplement their income. Allowing hits to create injuries that may hinder your player’s financial security is a concern when players don’t actually get paid enough to make a full living. I think if more money was dumped into the sport/league and viewership increased with it you could see a more relaxed safety protocol. But to be fair you’re not wrong that there has just been an overall culture shift from leagues and that contact is largely being neutered in sports
I don't understand the hit legality in this sport. Quite a few of these were just hits in the back that weren't a penalty but the last on and the most on par with a clean hockey and football hit was called illegal
I swear,...., By mid season, My mother would put ice on me, And I could hear her, silently say, Please, stop this! No!, we must put ball in Back of the net! Ya can't stop me! ❤❤🎉🎉
you know throwing a high pass in the middle of the field tends to be called a suicide pass for a reason
In one of my games the other team did that and I hit the kid and he got carted off, then the parents from the other team were yelling at me even though it was clean
Yeeeeah, he really put his boy at risk cuz he was feeling pressure himself.
It's called a hospital pass.
The best compilation video so far in the PLL

I was just reminiscing about a big hit I had when I was a kid, dude put his head down to scoop a ground ball and I leveled his ass 😂
My last game my defense brought a kid up into the air and slammed him into the ground and their coaches said, “that is what you call defense.”
i can't believe they gave a penalty for the sequence at 3:35
I can. Late af
@@georgearkwright7144 if you look closely the defencemen isn't even moving, if it was a car accident the attackmen would be held responsible lol
@@pierre-alexandre90 But he actively used his arms to bodycheck the opponent when the ball was already gone
Its wild how you can just flat out cross check people. Thats a major penalty in hockey
Garnsy jumping into the defender made me lol 😭
The first cannons one was amazing
4:44 holy s**t, bros helmet even flew off
Me being happy to not see an angry hockey player in the comments hating on lax 😂😂😂

@@genericsocks7542 same exact thing happening in hockey. Nowadays a huge hit usually ends in a fight.

Hey PLL, your end-of-video “Watch More” is empty, you should linked windows to other PLL posts in those spots but they’re empty
best vid
That last hit was perfect, I've done that a few times n like half the time get a penalty, usually a 5min
God dam😂😂😂😂
Hockey players 🤝 LAX Players
Gosh I miss playing
SAMEEEEEEEEE
the last is probably a penalty bc he’s a defenseless player but he did leave his feat on his own valuation
This isn’t a youth sport it’s professional you can be defenseless and get hit there’s nothing in the rules that say otherwise
My first time knowing about this game because of the old guy making lacrosse sticks.
🔥
“Look at all this cool stuff!” *penalizes it anyway*
First, and this is sick!
👊
Good thing they're not on ice. Some of those hits would be career ending....
Lacrosse doesn't make sense to me. There's hits that look dirty af that are allowed and then I see clean hits thay aren't. I don't get it 😅
Is cross-checking not a penalty anymore?
i was at the 1 game
so you cant hit legally?
No
#givetexasalaxteam
Wow the PLL biggest hits are normal hits in junior or box. I always thought field had better hitting
There's a lot more room to avoid hits in field
Quite a few cross checks in here
