I use this to live gig with. My main issue is the polyphony is not enough but the sounds are great.

Love the update guys, thanks a ton! If SampleTank just had a MIDI editor, it will probably be the best iOS app. I always paired with cubasis for that flexibility in editing recorded midi parts.

Best thing that ever happened to mobile music, seriously. Have ditched heavy and large keyboards now for something highly powerful and customizable, and that fits into a a small duffel bag (irig keys). Question for guys at IKmultimedia (or anyone else really), I have so many saved multis on my ipad, can I transfer these to my iphone without having to set them up again manually? How can I do this? Cheers!

First, thank you for the kind words! It is always amazing to hear how musicians use the tools we make to help them make music better, faster, or however it helps them! Second, yes you can transfer those among iOS devices using File Sharing. You can find some more detail in this Apple support doc: support.apple.com/en-us/HT201301

when he says at 2:22 that you can create a song then take it to a DAW, does that mean this is not good enough to make a finish song?

Hey Juan! Thanks for watching the video. I did say you can eventually transfer the song to a DAW. I mentioned that because some will want to record vocals or add live instrumentation to the song. SampleTank 2 totally is capable and able to stand on its own for song creation. Thank you for pointing that out and I should have been more clear.

I am having hard time to map a mute on multi mode. I try the midi learn with some cc it learns but then it can’t toggle mute.

Hey Eric! Does this program work without problem on stage? I mean is it easy to use and edit realtime on stage? Do you recommend for professional musicians? I bought a used Macbook pro 2 weaks ago, that has 8 GB RAM, SSD etc. But I thinking to change to a new Ipad. Maybe an Ipad with sampletank, galilleo organ app will be enough for me for live music. What is your experience with these stuff on stage?

Hi Péter, I actually use SampleTank2 iOS alone on a lot of gigs now. I used Mainstage before and still do for somethings, so having the Macbook Pro is still a great investment. However, SampleTank2 iOS has held it's own and been a very valuable tool. When working with some of the bigger artists, people are amazing I just pull out my iPad and a controller and ready to go. Now I will say, depending on your need or application, you might need to do some programing at home before you jump right on stage with it. For me, I play a lot of parts and have some complex splits that need to be tweaked and programed, but even if I only had 20 mins before a gig I'm able to it easy in SampleTank2 iOS. Hope this helps you. Get out there and continue making great music!

Eric Parker Thank U! One more question. How do you handle the latency with Ipad and Sample Tank2?

Too bad Sampletank 2 is broken for iOS12 now.
