You know, I think one of the top things on my “ before I kick the bucket list” is to go to your neck of the woods, camp with you and have you make some of that delicious coffee and have a big old sip. Lol

Can I just say what i love about this camp? As a man that comes from a frontiers man family in the states. These shelters remind me of my boyhood and leaning how to build shacks and shanties, as well a look into my own family history of when they found a place to settle they made homes. Nothimg like oir modren day homes, but homes just the same. And it makes me wonder if a new survival challenge to live out of these places for x number of days wont be issued? It would be kimd of cool form a frontier perspective. And a scouts perspective. To push the endurance envlope. And maybe pack the things a frontiers man would take oit with them on long stents with food supply. But that is the nostalgia your base camp you built here brings out.

Hello Tom, nice cabin with spartan interieur. But with the stove all you will need. Coincidence! I got a little maple tree in my outdoor hobby room with a Feuerhand kerosene lamp (indoorliquid) hanging on a branch of this tree. Further wooden spoons, Kuksa, leather case and bone firesteels. Great. When I was 12, my buddy and I built a tiny log cabin (3 or 4 feet high) in the woods near town. More fun than a New York apartment.

Really liked your new shelter house. Looks like you have some good lumber. And looks good and solid. A pretty good carpenter I see. Will be nice on rainy days and cold days. Hello Tom, WOW! The shelter is really coming together. It will be great to spend overnight camp outs in especially with the stove. You now have to figure a way to grow ground moss for wall to wall carpet on the floor. Have a great week my friend.

Can I just say what i love about this camp? As a man that comes from a frontiers man family in the states. These shelters remind me of my boyhood and leaning how to build shacks and shanties, as well a look into my own family history of when they found a place to settle they made homes. Nothimg like oir modren day homes, but homes just the same. And it makes me wonder if a new survival challenge to live out of these places for x number of days wont be issued? It would be kimd of cool form a frontier perspective. And a scouts perspective. To push the endurance envlope. And maybe pack the things a frontiers man would take oit with them on long stents with food supply. But that is the nostalgia your base camp you built here brings out.

Coincidence! I got a little maple tree in my outdoor hobby room with a Feuerhand kerosene lamp (indoorliquid) hanging on a branch of this tree. Further wooden spoons, Kuksa, leather case and bone firesteels. It looks great. Take care. Alex
