I think you're right, those vocals sound like they've been isolated from the album version. There's layering going on that definitely isn't from a concert recording.

Yeah, pretty good piano-playing by the person who did it, but yeah, definitely an edit
@ There are a lot of different bead companies, I myself bought beads and made 26 bracelets, for when I went to the Eras Tour film. I already had the stretchy cord and some clear beads, so I ordered from Temu some very cute alphabet letter beads at half the cost in the stores. I don't know if you know what they have the bracelets say since you are a guy, but they usually use Taylor's song names and album names. But you might already know that since your wife is a Swifty, if so, ignore what I told you.

@@Violet316 I've gotten a recap from her and someone offered to make me some early on in this channel, but yeah, we'll make some too, I'm sure
@ Stick with the easier one. or do acronyms for long song names like LWYMMD or YNTCD. I ran out of vowels, and that is why I only made 26, I wished I had doubled my order from Temu (they are half the cost than in our stores for the same beads).

@@Violet316 I kinda want a dragon bead and a sword bead. For fighting dragons 😍
she's done this live a few times on the tour: look for the song title and add "live" --- some are in shorts, too. The tour gets livestreamed by a lot of people.

The quality of those are so hit and miss it's hard to find one that is good to use for the video unfortunately. But I'll get to experience it myself in May, so guess I better just hold out 😅
Thank you for your opinion on this.. I'm the opposite of you, I listen to the lyrics but don't understand a lot of what happens with the music and I appreciate you showing me the other side. ❤

Thank you! My wife is just like you. She'll regularly play me clips from songs and excitedly wait for me to hear the lyric she's so excited for only for me to miss it 😅
This is my favorite song from her album Midnights 😁Also, since apparently you like things related to medieval fantasy stories (like me), I recommend that you react to the video "Willow". The song is very folkish and instrumental, and the video has a bit of Lord of the Rings vibes, magic, fairies, witches, etc.

Oh you've sold me HARD on that one! 😍 Going into 13 days of Swiftmas next, but after that, definitely!
@ Yes do it. In fact, this song in its Eras Tour performace caused controversy. Many christian people accused Taylor of witchcraft 😅 But the song is relaxed and beautiful.
The version you listened to wasn’t actually live, just someone’s concept of it on piano. This is it actually live, from Mexico. ruclips.net/video/s6lsn5daACM/видео.html
Oh I loved Tolerate it straight away - I think I already recommended it to you. And the live version (from what I saw on the movie) was beautiful… especially with the piano solo at the beginning ❤
But I'm happy you finally reacted to YOYOK! The second one you watched was definitely a fan edit. It's worth watching her perform this live on the Eras tour for sure! She's done it a few times, including in the Eras Tour movie, but I think this is the best video that's on RUclips right now: ruclips.net/video/vcbBzO4HRv8/видео.html
Too many people make fake live versions and fake Taylor’s versions. It stresses me out. :( Nice reaction, though. And good job spotting the fake features of it, though. I never could figure that kinda thing out. What’s the next reaction on the docket?

Ivy is already recorded but after that, we'll see! Any suggestions? 🥰
@ Oh, “ivy” has such a cool narrative in the lyrics! Since you like the instrumentation stuff, though, maybe “Carolina”? It’s all real instruments that were available in the time period of the book/movie she wrote it for. Otherwise, maybe a throwback to something she wrote really young? Like “The Outside” (which she wrote at 12) or “A Place in this World” (which she wrote at 13). They aren’t POPULAR songs, but I really loved them when that album came out. Side note, did you see the video of Taylor Swift singing “All Too Well” and personally throwing a water bottle to a fan without even missing a beat in her song? (She couldn’t have known about the death yet by then, I don’t think, but she was obviously worried.) She also stopped the concert a few times to tell security to hand out water and didn’t start again until they did. What a terrible situation, though…
@ Oh, I suppose we’re heading toward Christmas. If you celebrate? I dunno if you do. But Taylor Swift has a Christmas song called “Christmas Tree Farm” with a cute music video with home videos of her during childhood Christmases. And there’s a live performance from before the pandemic. Not a big showy performance or anything, but it wasn’t her own concert or anything-it was the ‘Jingle Bell Ball’ so I think that limited her options. There’s also an ‘old timey’ version with a real orchestra providing instrumentals? I dunno. I think the home movies are cute, haha.
@ oh, last thing-a cute video from her 1989 era where she got Christmas presents for fans. ruclips.net/video/j3yyF31jbKo/видео.htmlsi=QooUQINvG0Hz-nm9 Since you mentioned wanting to know her as a person, too. I just remembered. 😂

@@MoyaoftheMist never heard of those song but will check them out as soon as I can! I hadn't seen that but heard from my wife that the venue did nothing, but her own crew handed things out as best they could. Appalling by the venue. I've been to a metal show at one point that had a lot of heat issues in the time leading up to it and security was VERY adamant at making sure noone got dehydrated. And that was in Swedish "warm" temperatures. They were spraying water into people's mouths and stuff all the time, barely doing their "normal" tasks at all, it was all water duty. THAT is the venues responsibility in situations like that.
Yeah that is not the live version at all. It´s a page who took her voice from her albums and then played the same piano as her at the show. You should watch the tour videos instead.

It's always hard finding good live versions from recent tours. Was hoping (and expecting) that one to be a audio version off the movie or something
This song helped Stevie Nicks through the grieving process when Christine McVie died. She publicly thanked Taylor for the song

Always interesting to see how busy react to the “starved my body” line. Keep up the good work🎉
Those friendship bracelets also boosted bead sales.
Hahaha now I want to look up bead company share prices over time and see if I can spot the bump 😅
