  • I went inside the first Submarine Museum of South East Asia which is located in the city if Vizag in India. INS Kursura is the name of this submarine which was used by the Indian Navy to patrol the seas. The entry fee is just Rs. 40 for an adult. Inside you get the experience the life of a Submarine Sailor and the complications that this machine has.

As an ex submariner I can say we are like alians... We ensure that no one can pull our legs.. For your kind information:-We're the last line of defense.. 1.3 billion pure souls gives us air so we can breathe in this metallic masterpiece..
As an Indian ex navy survent i can say we can defeat pak Or china but we can't defeat our own narrow minded peoples.. And i said myself as a survent because lots of Indians thinks that we're doing our jobs seriously because of money like them they're doing in their offices... But we're thankful of them because of them we can watch our mistakes.

We both left home at 18.
    You cleared JEE,
    I got recommended.
    You got IIT,
    I got NDA.
    You pursued your degree,
    I had the toughest training.
Your day started at 7 and ended at 5,
Mine started at 4 till 9 and
    Some nights also included.
    You had your convocation ceremony,
    I had my POP.
    Best company took you and
    Best package was awarded,
I was ordered to join my paltan
With 2 stars piped on my shoulders.
    You got a job,
I got a way of life.
Every eve you got to see your family,
I just wished i got to see my parents soon.
You celebrated festivals with lights and music,
I celebrated with my comrade in bunkers.
    We both married,
Your wife got to see you everyday,
My wife just wished i was alive.
You were sent to business trips,
I was sent on line of control.
    We both returned,
Both wives couldn’t control their tears, but
    You wiped her but,
    I couldn’t.
    You hugged her but,
    I couldn’t.
Because I was lying in the coffin,
With medals on my chest and,
    Coffin wrapped with tricolour.
    My way of life ended,
    Your continued.
We both left home at 18.

As a submariner, I can tell you that there's not much of a difference between the interiors of submarines being operated today as well. If you find this one bad one which is renovated to host tourists , you'll pray you'll never enter an operational one. 😂😂😂 There's nothing called 'comfort' in the life of a submariner.

Govt. not providing any guided tour shows its utter disrespect for such a museum of national importance !!!!!
At least, a handheld audio guide could be of good use to visitors considering scarcity of space for a group of persons to stand together in such cramped structures !!!!! Visitors come not only to see or click pictures with it but to feel and gather knowledge about an important entity, and not providing required insights fails the purpose in total of sculpting a museum !!!!!
Another point, this museum should be much more decorated in terms of literature, history, interactive activity and other ways to inculcate a deep rooted sense of respect and thankfulness for our 🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳Protectors ⚔️⚔️⚓⚓!!!!!
