- Hello guys and welcome back,
In this video I am doing a review on the nail polish brand Manucurist Paris. Seeing as I like to do my nails myself I was looking for an at home polish, that will last longer then a couple of days (we probably all know the problem of having chipped nail polish after only 2 days)
Which brings us here. I have found a brand that claims on their Website that their gel polish is going to last up to 10 days, which would be absolutely incredible. So I decided to give it a go and here is my review.
Please keep in mind that this is my own opinion and I am simply sharing my experiences I had.

I do need to work on my prep and avoiding cuticles and side walls, but I have found this brand last longer than ordinary nail polish. I work in a hospital, so I don't use polish often, and never have it on for very long. Atm, I'm on my second day, and I have no chips or cracks, they're still nice and shiny on my short nails.
Removal is amazingly quick and easy (something that has always put me off gel polish before), I use loo roll which I cut in half, instead of cotton pads. I've done my toe nails too, and that lastet for ages, way more than 10 days.
That is really sounds great and I am glad the polish lasts so well on your nails!
I absolutely agree with you. I found the nail varnish gloopy, couldnt do thin coats and prepped and painted as suggested. Shocking, two days later chipping. Tried again and same results. Just a waste of money. I tried to return products and was told they would not accept nail varnish, or remover and only the lamp and clips. BUT would only refund me less than 50% of the total , bought for £75 and would offer me £27.50 and I should mail back to France at my own cost of £12.50, so in essence only £15.00 back. I communicated with them over two days and received a standard NON response. Don't waste your money, and don't deal with companies who have NO GOODWILL or customer service when the product clearly is poor and doesn't do what they claim
Thank you so much for sharing your experiences with the nail polish. I am sad to hear that you had such a bad experience when you tried to return the product. I recently tried using it again but it chipped on the very first day, so I am giving up for good now. It simply doesn't work.
I had the same experience. This is not a good product, and there is no refund either - a total waste!
Did yall order from the website? I was tempted to order from Amazon so I could get a refund if it didn’t work

I tried this polish after watching a Salon Life video. I was not impressed as I did not even get the wear time I get from my regular polishes, which is generally 7 days. I sent an email to Manucurist if they could explain why it came off a couple of my nails in one piece after 4-5 days and they never got back to me, so I was interested in your opinion. I also got wrinkles on one nail like you did. IDK if the polish was too thinly applied or too thickly applied. Like you, I won't order it again. I was hoping it would be everything they claimed so I could use it for travelling without having to take polish with me. Oh well. Thank you for your post.
I am sad to hear that the polish also didn't work for you but happy that my video was of help to you. Thank you for your comment and your honest opinion! I guess some products just don't work for everyone unfortunately but I am by no means ready to give up my search for a nail polish that works for me. If I happened to find something good I will let you know. :)
Hello, similar experience here. 😢 I honestly feel like I wasted my money and of course, now that I have used it, they won’t take the kit back. I wrote an email to them but I just got an answer with instructions on how to use it (which I am doing already)… so yeah.. I feel disapponted too 😢
@@ilariarigoni6885 I was just looking at my Manucurist products the other day and thinking maybe I should give it a second try. I went back and watched the salon life video of a demonstration of that line, which is how I learned about it in the first place. Anna was able to get 10 days’ wear. I’m sorry I spent so much money getting this system based on the video, but live and learn.

This has been great for me and love how quickly it comes off
I really like their clear one step polishes. They are just a one coat shine type product which is how I like my manicures.
I could never do my own gels! I’ll leave this to my salon.

Mine lasted 10 days. Interesting how for some have problems. Also 2 minute soak it pops right off.

Mine has lasted 10 days with tiny chips. I feel the matt colours are better

Did you prep the nails at all before applying the base coat? Seal the free edge to prevent chipping? Just curious as this is what is needed with other gel polishes 💜
Hello Sarah, thank you for your comment! I used the nailpolish remover before putting on the base coat to get the natural oils off of my nails but other than that I didn't do any prep so maybe that's it. I did seal the edges though whilst applying my layers. I'm definitely going to look into prepping my nails to try and see if the nail polish lasts longer! 😊
@@ElinaFridayhi, I didn't tried it yet, but I've heard that manucurist remover is not best for removing oils since it does on its own contains oil. Maybe trying different one or pure acetone for this purpose and green one for removing nail polish
Nope, very uneven polish surface, lots of indents.
Unfortunately same here..
