Syd is cutting her first album this weekend in Prague and it will be released on 9/20. In October she will be doing I think an 14 or 18 towns tour in the UK and of course in the end of November will be the Royal Variety Show. She’s a busy girl.
First of all, thanks for analyzing Sydnie's entire journey at BGT. In your first video about her I remember a sentence you said, something like you believed the story because of you noticed that she also believed it and knew how to convey it. Apart from her outstanding voice, that is one of the best things that can be said about an artist. I also like her expressiveness. It would be a shame if she wasn't able to develop her career, there are many successful singers, commercially speaking, and they aren't as talented as her. It was a treat listening to your analysis, I'll see you next time. 👏👋

Let's put these performances in context of her personal career path and her "last ditch" effort (her words) to rescue that career. Her background in musical theatre truly informs her songs, because she performs them not just sings them, bringing the listener into her aura, so her audition with "Tomorrow" was perhaps her first time performing as herself, Sydnie Christmas, not a stage character. Her audition song, originally so optimistic, she transformed to a song of despair, that tomorrow was never going to happen to her. Ironically, this performance was the key to success for her, so then "My Way" was her song of defiance at those who did not recognize her ability. Finally, her version of "Over the Rainbow" was triumphant, as he smiles broadly throughout, knowing she has a future in singing. In my opinion, she has gone beyond musical theatre and is much more natural fit for the concert stage.
Very much agree with the Streisand vibe. I hope Sydnie will have a career as glorieus as Streisand's..she deserves it, BGT has btw uploaded a nice video of Sydnie talking about her journey on BGT. She indeed felt age wise she was reaching a point of resigning it wasn't going to happen for her and said to herself..why not take this shot of entering BGT
Thanks, yes, that's what I felt when I heard her introduction during the auditions.... I kinda felt like, for her, it was the last shot...and the songs she chose to sing sounded like a confirmation : Tomorrow, My Way, Over the Rainbow..... thanks for the support.
Michael, Loren Allred did sing this song on BGT. Loren is Sydnie’s idol and when her coach wanted her to sing this song, Sydney said no. Loren sent Syd a video and told Sydnie to sing the song. Also, Sydnie was sick when she sang Somewhere Over the Rainbow and told her mom she was so off key. Can you imagine. Lastly, Sydney just released a vocal couple days ago doing her version of Starlight Express (with Lyrics). It’s on You Tube. Please be the first to do a reaction. ❤
Hi Robin, thanks for your support. I tried once to react to Loren Allred on BGT but got blocked... Maybe I could try once again to find the recording and to edit it....and I will have a look at Starlight Express ;) take care.

@@michaelreactions looking forward to it. And geez, I just saw interview with Sydney where trolls are calling her all sorts of names. Syd is deeply hurt to see such negative comments especially since there is no veracity to the stories they are flaunting. Why can’t folks just be happy for others.
Sydnie nailed the final pin of the whole competition. The whole event can be remembered mostly by her performance. Though I like Jack Rodge too. Thank you once again Michael.

Sydnie said nothing would be more amazing for her right now than doing adult with Loren. Since Amanda gave Loren the golden buzzer on BGT 2023 and also gave Sydnie the golden buzzer this year, Amanda told Sydnie that would be easy to arrange. So I think we will be seeing that happen soon. I can’t wait.

@@robinabbott5653they met in London when Loren was performing with Andrea Bocelli on Jul 5th. Don't know if they did anything musically though. And Loren got Golden Buzzer in 2022, Amanda had the wrong year.
@@lawrenceb5236 thanks for correcting my memory on Loren. I don’t think they sang on July 5th based on how Amanda said Syd’s wish can easily be arranged. I’ll just try to be patient for it to happen. Lawrence did you listen to her version of Starlight Express released couple days ago? It’s on you tube.
