I am surprised you did not mention the fact that this motor is probably the quietest made. Now that even hub drives are coming standard with torque sensors, even on discount hub drives, I am surprised at all the remarks concerning them. With more and more states banning throttles on state routes and communities doing the same on their MUP's, soon everything will come with a torque sensor.
Where is this being recorded with State and Town on whatever I’m looking to relocate and I think that be great to relocate to a place that has bike path like this
@@dennisluz6453 he is saying range from a mid drive with torque sensor is X range because it is more efficient .. But just throttle alone at 20 mph I get up to 50 miles.. On a rear hub 1,000 watt bike.
Thanks for this review ! Think I found my new ride 🎉. Live in a hilly section of nyc long time cyclist and want to commute and arriving safe and easy. A heaver rider complying with traffic laws is a huge factor. Any other suggestions ?

Thank YOU! We appreciate it!
It's "surprisingly",
not "surpringly".

St George, Utah
Seems like a popular test location. I note that EBR has tested many models in St George.
At this price those features say "a good deal" but it is, oh,so heavy at 70 lbs. Less use of lightweight (6061?) aluminum?
The range i get throttle only 20 mph is 50 miles. But my battery is 52v 20 ah. This bike does well. Not bad!
This one caught us by surprise on a lot of tests.
I thought this mid drive bike had no throttle. Are you describing another model?

It really depends on the feel and style of bike you're looking for, but I think this one will suit you well! We were impressed all around.
Very thorough and informative review. Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Doesn't the Bafang M600 allow you to add a throttle aftermarket?
According to Bafang's website, it seems so - but we think less tech-savvy riders will not likely add that on their own.
