Even though this is 9 years old. I still come to this amazingly beautiful video.. That scene where Ugly 1 sees you go down, and they just say "We got this." Just unloading on everything threatening their crew. Amazing Teamwork there!
55:54 i had a similar situation where i was piloting an A-10 and took a rocket and needed to land at a hostile airbase to bandage with about 7-8 enemy vehicles within 300meters of me had two Apaches and another A-10 giving me support until i got back in the air Give the pilots of Ugly 1 some fucking props people that shit was fucking awesome
As one of the infantry on the ground, that was hands down the most intense mission I've been a part of. The tanks spotted at 46:15 were less than 50 meters from our squad, so close the ground shook. Watching CAS come in and do their bit was incredible. The A-10 is a beautiful sound.
"We're losing unit cohesion right now (on the ground)........" "We're taking care of business up here." "Everyday!" *Gets shot down* "Shit..." That was beautiful Dslyecxi!
Mother of god! The mayhem after the armor rolled in... that was just beautiful. Thanks for sharing this video with us. It was probably the most intense AH6 mission I've seen yet.
i love how he gives a satisfied little sigh when he finally gets leveled because he didn't even have to rock out of that spin (or barely at least). You go, Dslyecxi!
Honestly this is the most epic fire fight I've seen in the entire ArmA series. I've played this game for a long time, albeit not quite as organized/tactical as the shacktac guys, and I have to say....thoroughly impressed. Wow.
1:02:36 to 1:02:39 is one of the many reasons why I would like to be part of ShackTactical. I imagine it is a big reason why most want to join your community. I see it every time I watch a mission. Teamwork, Honor and Style. You guys do it right consistently. Thank you and continued success.
I’m always telling people to invest time to learn so they can ‘experience’ ARMA, and it is like nothing you have ever experienced before, this is a perfect example of that! No amount of scripting can give this kind of intensity. I’m so glad a little mod put a lot more attention on a game that has always deserved it.
Dslyecxi, I have watched every one of your videos. This is by far the most epic in terms of action, emotion, and immersion. Whoever created this mission deserves a medal. Thank you for all of the videos that allow us to play with ShackTac through your eyes.
When you got shot down, i was at the climax of the song "The Blue Danube" and it was just epic. The red tracers coming down and wrecking those t-72's right in front of your face while you laughed literally sent shivers down my neck it was so awesome. The music was timed so well it was insane.
This looks like a full scale invasion, its a complete chaos. And that's why its so fun watching. Cant imagine how fun it was for you guys to play that round.
"This includes what I'd consider to be the most epic scene I've ever participated in in the entire OFP/Arma series - you'll know it when you see it." You were right on the money on that one, Dslyecxi! Intense!
The fact that you kept looking despite taking massive fire and shit is impressive. Not to mention I was still trying to pick my jaw up from the floor due to the beauty of that air cover they gave you while you were repairing.
God I love these full mission videos, that part where you had to land in the middle of enemy forces was just awesome! I hope Killoch and Taconic also upload the full mission from their perspective!
gotta love the "shit shit shit, what do i do, what do i do." don't think I've heard those words from Dslyecxi in his videos before. I got an adrenalin rush just watching that bombardment to cover him while he was on the ground. Awesome
This was one of your best videos Dslyecxi. I hope someone uploads an infantryman's perspective. Those few seconds you had on the ground repairing your little bird were amazing.
Holy crap. That was some of the best ArmA footage I've seen on your channel. One of the few 1 hours videos on youtube that's worth a full watch. Man I was sitting on the edge of my chair when you were repairing under fire!
Amazing. At first i thought the battle vs 3 choppers was the high.. but then.. simply amazing.. between the explosions and your maniac laughter... wow. goosebumps.
0:55:00 Dslyecxi, that was the coolest minute and a half I've ever seen from one of your videos. Can't believe you caught all that... and I can't believe you survived!
TY for putting a little callsign box! Sometimes I stop watching your vids part way through for whatever reason, and half the time I come back having forgotten whose callsign was whose.
At around 15:00 is when Delta was bolting across the fields SW of Bergen. That vehicle cooking off was a BMD that drove up on us, and was strafed by an A-10 moments before it could engage us. I thought we were all dead for sure, but the air support had other ideas.
Some of the guys in ShackTac, including Dslyecxi, are ex-military. Most of the guys have just been playing in this style for many years now. Pros all around.
42:42 - 1 Rocket - 1 Epic Kill......This is by far, the best video you have posted and that is saying something when you consider how high quality your video's are!
That, was absolutely, insane. And it just got more and more hectic as the video wore on too. You are also the luckiest bugger, EVER. Great videos, I know I'll be watching them regularly.
There have been many great Dyslecxi moments and videos, but Sir you were correct, this has been by far the best of the best. Don't know how you'll be able to top this one. The images during your ground repair in the midst of the fiercest action was epic. This dedicated fan would award you an Oscar if it were possible.
Watched all of it and omg best fight ever! This is making me want to play more Arma 2! I hope arma 3 would do something like this when full release. Thanks for the upload, just the best 1:11:21 minutes of my life.
Through the whole video I was wondering, "Is this the epic moment?" through all the minor epic moments, and then I got to the epic moment and it was incredible!
You guys should have a TV Show, I mean this stuff is good. Keeps my appetite for war movies satisfied most of the while, kudos, especially for people who don't have enough time to invest in Arma, every now and then the 40min videos are usually perfect daily entertainment.
Don't get me wrong, this video owned bones and That Moment was absolutely amazing. Constantly escalating tension and the great moments made better by the lengthy context. Enough RPGs flying through the air for a pilot to walk home on if they get shot down. But man, what I wouldn't give to see Taconic's perspective on the ground from this mission. The poor foot sloggers must've seen some shit that session. :/
"The mission shown is a coop (vs AI) on the Celle 2 terrain." It's in the description. Most of these things have been answered before on other videos and are on the blog last I checked.
Oh My GAAAAWWWWDDDD, at that 56 Minute mark when you had to force land and repair with the Light Show, then the Warthog comes in and Cleans house, I actually clapped. HAHA
7 years on, and this is still one of the coolest things I've ever seen in gaming
Even though this is 9 years old. I still come to this amazingly beautiful video.. That scene where Ugly 1 sees you go down, and they just say "We got this." Just unloading on everything threatening their crew. Amazing Teamwork there!

Still one of the best Shacktac videos ever.

I suspect folks are dying to know: did you ever find out who the lone guy in the town was? Maybe you were chasing a ghost...
I always come back to this video... The joy you experience when you go down and the AH-64 and the Warthog helping you is just a beautiful thing.
55:25 - 57:03
That was one of the most spectacular moments I have ever witnessed in gaming.
One does not simply shoot down Dslyexci and get away with it.
2020 and this is still glorious.
"We're losing unit cohesion right now (on the ground)........"
"We're taking care of business up here."
"Everyday!"
*Gets shot down*
"Shit..."
That was beautiful Dslyecxi!
The 55 minute mark made me cry of laughter and joy. The amount of firepower this close to you was insane.
By far my favorite dslyecxi video.
Great flying Dslyecxi.
BSG has taught me that whenever someone says "it's been an honor", badass shit is about to go down. And this did not disappoint! Awesome video!
Mother of god!
The mayhem after the armor rolled in... that was just beautiful.
Thanks for sharing this video with us. It was probably the most intense AH6 mission I've seen yet.

One of, If not THE best ShackTac videos you've put up all year.
1:02:36 to 1:02:39 is one of the many reasons why I would like to be part of ShackTactical. I imagine it is a big reason why most want to join your community. I see it every time I watch a mission. Teamwork, Honor and Style. You guys do it right consistently. Thank you and continued success.

That combat repair easily the moment of the year, also shows what you can do with teamwork
This is always my go to video if people ask me why they should buy and ARMA game.
"Here is the stuff you'll never actually see happening if you buy arma"
that was a thing of beauty, I am honestly amazed by the number of times you get your rotor shot out yet manage to rtb
Everyone in Arma has a role to play. Whether it is boring or not it helps the company out tremendously.
"This includes what I'd consider to be the most epic scene I've ever participated in in the entire OFP/Arma series - you'll know it when you see it." You were right on the money on that one, Dslyecxi! Intense!
Still shaking like a mad men caused by the adrenalin rush after watching this epic episode!
Whoever made this mission has my eternal respect.
The fact that you kept looking despite taking massive fire and shit is impressive. Not to mention I was still trying to pick my jaw up from the floor due to the beauty of that air cover they gave you while you were repairing.
This was one hell of a mission, one hell of a perspective. Thanks for these uploads Dsylecxi. ShackTac forever.
Man, thanks for that Dslyecxi. That crash landing next to that tank was one of the coolest things I've ever seen, and I wasn't even there!
from 54:20 to 57:10 is just.. gorgeous, it's dead set something that looks like it should be a cutscene or a movie scene.
Loved hearing the guys on the ground as you did your flyby in the beginning.
Awesome
54:40 is where the beauty lives. This is one of your best videos, Dslyecxi. I thoroughly enjoyed watching it.
This was incredible. I am so jealous of everyone who participates in this stuff.
That scene was one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen in a videogame.
It warms the cockles of my heart how you sweated looking for that guy in Winsen. DSC material right there.
Still watching these old vids man love them
Thanks for sharing this Dslyecxi, and no, you weren't overstating how thrilling that was to watch, let alone to be part of.
That was amazing. I have never seen a battle anywhere near that intense in a videogame before.
Amazing. At first i thought the battle vs 3 choppers was the high.. but then.. simply amazing.. between the explosions and your maniac laughter... wow. goosebumps.
I love the almost constant radio chatter throughout this scenario.
Watching this for about the tenth time, never gets old!
Easily a new favorite for me, when Ugly 1 came down and started lighting shit up, followed by Hawg a few moments later... I need more.
This is by far the best operation I've seen yet! Can't get enough of watching this over and over. Great job on everyone's part! Awesome game play
0:55:00 Dslyecxi, that was the coolest minute and a half I've ever seen from one of your videos. Can't believe you caught all that... and I can't believe you survived!
Holy crap, when Ugly & Hog were providing CAS for you it was absolutely incredible.
I love how Ugly 1 and Hod swoop in just at the perfect time on that tank. That was hilarious.
54:53 That was amazing Dslyecsxi. Fantastic footage there. It looked like so much fun. This definitely sneaks it's way into my top 5 shackTac vids.
I literally started cheering when that A-10 started heating up those tanks while you were repairing. So beast!
Your avatar and your comment go so well together it's unbelievable...
I'd like to nominate all ground platoon leads here for the ShackTac Medal of Honor.
What a cinematic, long, and truly DRAMATIC mission!
Wow, this has to be the gameplay of the year. Just amazing.
Holy hell. Please give that Ugly pilot and gunner a raise. That was pure epicness
TY for putting a little callsign box! Sometimes I stop watching your vids part way through for whatever reason, and half the time I come back having forgotten whose callsign was whose.

mate you must be proud of this video, seeing that A10 roll in was the highlight for me
This is amazing, the light show at 0:54 is brilliant!
That part is the single most epic arma moment i have ever seen
is it just me , or does this video have better action than multi million war movies? great job Dyslexi
Man I hope the next Arma lets moments like these happen again someday
Some of the guys in ShackTac, including Dslyecxi, are ex-military. Most of the guys have just been playing in this style for many years now. Pros all around.
Shot down in the middle of all that mess. Your screaming and laughing should be a ring tone. Epic.
I never watched any films movies etc that are as fun to watch as You,Kilroy's and beagles shacTac vids. Keep up the good work
42:42 - 1 Rocket - 1 Epic Kill......This is by far, the best video you have posted and that is saying something when you consider how high quality your video's are!
Probably the coolest Shacktac video to date.... EPIC
Thanks for the adblock comment and link chkilroy. A little education is a good thing.
That was... intense. Well done.
That, was absolutely, insane. And it just got more and more hectic as the video wore on too. You are also the luckiest bugger, EVER. Great videos, I know I'll be watching them regularly.

Now, I've been flying on Arma 2 for a while now, but you make me look like a total novice... Mah Gawd... Your epic level is over 9000
Watched all of it and omg best fight ever! This is making me want to play more Arma 2! I hope arma 3 would do something like this when full release. Thanks for the upload, just the best 1:11:21 minutes of my life.
Probably one of your best, most intense videos ever.
"- you'll know it when you see it." I'll refrain from spoilers, so I'll just say that part was every bit movie worthy. Thanks for the adrenaline lol.
Through the whole video I was wondering, "Is this the epic moment?" through all the minor epic moments, and then I got to the epic moment and it was incredible!

OH MY GOD! Dslyecxi hope you felt the love because those AI sure as hell did I never seen such a beautiful light show.
MANN when you tried repairing the lil-bird and the havoc came to save you i had goose bumps, amazing!
I was laughing out loud alongside Dslyecxi, that was unbelievable! THis is the epitome of SHACKTAC, thats definitely going in the year in review...
For those that just want to see the shit storm it starts at 44:30
"The mission shown is a coop (vs AI) on the Celle 2 terrain."
It's in the description.
Most of these things have been answered before on other videos and are on the blog last I checked.
Oh good. It freaked me out when I thought that was him and you'd gotten that close. Great video, one of your best.
Wow that was beyond epic! Lucky that tank was far too busy to look over at ya
I always thought it would be an awesome feature for radio to transmit background noises, would add a lot more realism and joy.
I would call this something like "advanced gaming" and I love watching this kind of content. Thanks!
I enjoyed the video until 54:37 ... the ~3 minutes after that blew my mind! Brilliant
Those moments when the radio's going nuts and everyone's talking at the same time and it's really tense and exciting. >:D
god damn! air support was NOT going to let you die among the enemy! great video
Oh My GAAAAWWWWDDDD, at that 56 Minute mark when you had to force land and repair with the Light Show, then the Warthog comes in and Cleans house, I actually clapped. HAHA
You certainly didn't promise too much here, holy crap. At first I thought the air battle with the HIP's was the awesome part but damn was I wrong...
Dslyecxi, that moment, man, I can't wait for the 2013 year end review to see what type of music you put, just for this one moment.
Hey Dslyecxi, this video was featured in PC Gamer. Grats man!
My god.. @54.50 What a badass situation! Epic stuff right there!
